In The Qing Dynasty Costume Pattern In Modern Application Research In The Design Of Fabric Pattern

Nowadays, clothing brands have been increasingly focusing on the development and design of fabric patterns in line with their own brand style, so as to form the distinct brand style and brand positioning. Under such general circumstance, study about the application of clothing patterns in Qing Dynasty on modern fabric patterns is of great significance. How to integrate the inherent cultural conception of clothing patterns in Qing Dynasty with the design of modern fabric patterns as well as the design of modern clothing patterns adequately has significant application values about the contemporary clothing pattern innovation and profound cultural inheritance meanings.First of all, by carrying out researches about relevant industrial characteristics of the clothing system and clothing in Qing Dynasty, this paper gets a full understanding about the clothing system in Qing Dynasty as well as the impact of fabric craft level and processing features then on its clothing patterns. Then, a detailed analysis on clothing patterns in Qing Dynasty is conducted from the following few aspects: types of clothing patterns in Qing Dynasty, color matching characteristics of clothing patterns in Qing Dynasty, form beauty principle of clothing patterns in Qing Dynasty, application constitution of clothing patterns in Qing Dynasty, and craft methods of clothing patterns in Qing Dynasty. Specific to the problem about how to add the design essence of clothing patterns in Qing Dynasty to modern clothing fabric pattern design, over 10 styles of fabric patterns are designed along with sample making before input to the market, so as to identify the research result by consumers. The writing of this paper is based on the attitude of “experience is the mother of wisdom”. It is expected to provide some practical research reference to application methods of clothing patterns in Qing Dynasty in the clothing fabric pattern design as well as the inheritance of the traditional culture.
