The saturated vapor is the recurring impurities contained in the storage gas that does harm to the pipeline as well as other transmission equipment. As the vapor cannot be separated from the natural gas, in order to reach the natural gas transport standard, it must be purified in the natural gas dehydration device special for purification in the natural gas purification plant. With the demand of natural gas is increasing in various fields in China, the research on natural gas dehydration device attracts more and more attention. Optimization of energy consumption of natural gas dehydration device, has become a new hot spot with the development of gas optimization technology.Based on a three-months research of the new Xuanhan natural gas purification plant, this thesis simulate natural gas dehydration device and put forward a new scheme about energy consumption optimization of natural gas dehydration device. In the thesis, dehydration process is established by using the TEG dehydration. Then strategies for optimizing dewatering device was determined by HYSYS and MATLAB. HYSYS builds the dehydration unit process model. According to the analysis of the process model, the initial energy consumption of dehydration unit optimization model is established. By using the BP neural network that is optimized by the standard overall particle swarm algorithm for HYSYS simulation mathematical modelling to get the parameter data, then incorporated the mathematical model into the genetic algorithm, to get the natural gas dehydration unit energy consumption optimization scheme that based on BP neural network and genetic algorithm model. This application of the energy consumption optimization scheme is used in the new Xuanhan natural gas purification plant that give simulation and optimization on a dehydration device of which the design production capacity gas is242×104m3/d.The simulation test result declares that under the case that the quality of the product gas meet the design standards, this method is reasonable and efficient on optimizing the operating parameters, so that the dehydration unit energy consumption was17%lower than the design value.
