With the rapid development of plastic machinery, the demand of mechanical machining precision is higher. It influences the quality of plastic plasticizing for its length-to-diameter ratio, compression ratio, surface accuracy and helical surface. So to design a set of high efficiency and precision machining screw equipment becomes one of the important research. With the meshing principle of cutter and screw surface,build the mathematical model of the envelope. Through the numerical control system the screw is processed, which is based on the envelope surface machining method.NC machine with double cutters brings great convenience for machining screw.It increases efficiency and limited value of the length-to-diameter ratio and holding power. Therefore the screw makes plastic plasticize more uniformly from it.In the development of NC machine tools with double milling cutters, its key technical difficulty includes mathematical model of helical surface design, improving the machining accuracy, cutter carriage assembly and setting a good human-machine interface. Based on envelope equation, the center of five-axis relative motion data is build up by using the programming software. Then the machine movement process is designed, which is compiled by graphical programming language called LabVIEW.And the butt is established between the hardware and software platform in the numerical double milling cutter control system.It is the key to design the spiral surface formation. Through analyzing the meshing relationship between helical workpiece surface and cutter rotary surface, the space meshing equation and the meshing boundary conditions are set up. And reducing screw machining error improves the screw surface machining accuracy.The angle between cutter axis and the workpiece axis Angle and their center distance are important parameters of transition surface. Therefore, the positioning assembly of the cutter and milling machine is one of the highlights of research.A good human-machine interface enhances its efficiency and reduces labor intensity. The main factors influencing the man-machine interface are interface beauty and logic operation.
