Quality Management Research On Construction Project Of Qingdao LPG Underground Repository

LPG (Liquefied Petroleum Gas) has received the increasing attention in many countries for its superiority of gas supply security and peak shaving. As a non-renewable energy resource, natural gas is the state’s strategic resource, which is concerned with the sustainable development of our country. The underground repository could strengthen the strategic reserve of LPG. and it has become a part of the national energy use for its important role in industry integration of upstream and downstream. However, the technology of underground repository construction is not mature at present, especially quality control in construction. This thesis deals with the quality management and process control and their essentiality in constructionThis thesis is based on the existing theories and previous research of the project management in construction, using the relevant theories of quality control in project construction and closely connected with the reality of the underground repository construction, through which we could enhance the quality management. The thesis focuses on the construction management and process control during the building of the LPG repository, which should apply the case studies of the stages in construction and quality management and control. The aims of all these researches are to solve problems by quantitative means, to make the quality control and management comprehensively, scientifically and feasibly and to provide a reference paradigm of project quality management and control for the future project and construction.This thesis melts the project management theories into the LPG underground repository. From the perspective of the project stake-holder of the LPG underground repository, technicists the present status of environment geology, construction craft, requirements of future use and technical demands. Then, by using the whole process of monitoring, some dissatisfactory unqualified factors would be alleviated or even eliminated. so that the technology and activities would be quality-assured. Quality management is an important part of the construction organization management during the process of construction and follow-up works, which includes pre-construction planning, organizational alignments, and some systematic security management activities. The most important points during the construction are quality management and process control, which are the essential part of the LPG underground repository and project process evaluation. Quality management and process control are also the important basis to judge the rationality and feasibility of the construction. The key to success of the construction project is to make the quality management and control right.The thesis also covers the empirical study of the quality management during the underground repository construction. Through the research of key link of the quality management and control theory as well as the comprehensive analysis of quality management, a prime way of underground repository quality management and control would be found. By a large number of quantitative analysis and the elaboration of key points of the underground repository, some references would be provided for the construction management of such projects.
