Blast furnace iron making is the preceding working procedure of steelmaking., it is to provide the main product of molten iron for sequence process. Blast furnace hot metal quality decides the quality of the overall process of iron and steel, and can effectively the influence of process energy consumption of iron and steel enterprises.High quality of molten iron is prerequisites of decrease whole supply chain overall cost of steel.Blast furnace hot metal quality level is determined by the level of hot metal silicon content and the sulfur content, and the two indicators mainly determined by the steel demand. TSCO blast furnace hot metal sulfur content is general control below0.03%, fully meet the requirements of steelmaking. However, hot metal silicon content has been over 0.5%, and the standard deviation is larger, can’t fully meet the requirements of steelmaking. Therefore, it is necessary for hot metal silicon content was analyzed, and the search the key factors for affecting blast furnace hot metal silicon content is also very meaningful.This article main research content includes:(1) In the actual production to find out the relevant factors affecting blast furnace hot metal silicon content, and using the grey correlation analysis and principal component analysis(PCA) to analyze 16 factors, find the five principal components of blast furnace hot metal silicon content the contribution rate reach more than 80%, on the basis, explore the six a key role factors of the blast furnace hot metal silicon content, air volume, humidity, heat load, K value, FR and silicon load.(2) Monitored the six key factors of multivariate T2 chart, and compared with the corresponding hot metal silicon content, proves the multivariate T2 statistics is effective response the change trend of hot metal silicon content.(3) Use control chart monitor key factors, and establish control standards and management methods, at the same time form suitable quality control pattern for TSCOblast furnace hot metal management.
