The Research On Contract Management Of The Section â…¢ Of The 3^rd West-east Gas Transmission Line

As the economy develops, the demand on oil and gas is increasing, and the role of construction of oil and gas projects is becoming much more important during economy building and sate strategy. Therefore, EPC naturally is regarded as an important contact model of petroleum contract management.This article takes an example of the EPC project at the section 3 of the west part of the 3rd West-East Gas Transmission Line. And it respectively states tendering management and contract management standing on the foot of EPC Contractor. For tendering management, it emphasizes collection and selection of information, deepening survey, reducing contract risks, careful studying tendering documents, statics of tendering and proposal and contract negotiation and signing. For contract management, it emphasizes communication of contracts, tracing and inspection of contract performance, variation and claim of contract, management of contract documents and evaluation system of contract. For subcontracting, it pays more attention to auditing of subcontractors qualification and subcontracting process. So, it is concluded that some problems exit at tendering management and contract management,therefore some effective and creative measures are brought up.This article is to attract construction enterprises to take high notice of tendering work of EPC contracting, to enhance management sense of tendering and contracting, to improve ability of contract personnel, which lay the foundation to be integration into international class for EPC enterprises.
