Quick-point grinding process has high effciency and good stability and it is a new development in high speed grinding technology field on high flexibility and mass production aspects. The grinding wheel axis form a certain Angle between the horizontal and vertical directions and the workpiece axis. The grinding wheel and workpiece form small area of point contact.The grinding process synthetically utilize the continuous trajectory numerical control technology at high speed, thus combining turning and griding order.Ceramic CBN grinding wheel can well satisfy the requirement of high precision, high speed and high grinding efficiency in grinding the difficult-to-machine material and iron materials,.With the development of science and technology, new materials constantly emerging, machining scope expands unceasingly. In this paper,the main research work is as follows:1, Respectively introducing the development situation at home and abroad from two aspects of high speed grinding technology and ceramic CBN grinding wheel. Briefly describing the characteristics of quick-point grinding technology and the advantages of ceramic CBN grinding wheel in machining.Putting forward the source of this topic, the research significance and research content.2, Analyzing quick-point grinding geometry and introducing the concepts of deflection Angle alpha.From the geometric features of quick-point grinding, deducing equation of grinding wheel equivalent diameter, grinding wheel and workpiece contact arc length,and the largest single diamond grits not deformation of chip thickness when alpha exist.Analyzing the theta Angle effect on grinding wheel grinding performance and the influence of the machining precision and machining efficiency.This paper expounds the characteristics of the grinding wheel parameters on the effect of grinding and selection principles, and preliminarily determines the characteristic parameters.Design and produce seven pieces of grinding according to wheel the experimental plan.3, Through the optical curve grinding machine, conducting a large number of ductile iron artifacts processing experiment.With seven different coarse dip ceramic bond CBN grinding wheel in the grinding zone, conducting respectively single factor experiment in the change of variable Angle alpha axial feeding speed, grinding depth, grinding, grinding wheel linear velocity.Then using the 3d surface roughness contour-graph and super depth of field microscope to measure surface microstructure, handling the experiment data to get the data line chart, summarizing the influence law of different parameters on surface roughness and analyzing the causes of law.Design the orthogonal test to analyze the influence of grinding process parameters on surface roughness.The measurement results are finished by range analysis and variance analysis to determine the primary and secondary order factors that affect the surface roughness, and analyze the influence of the significant level.4, Establishing the simulation model of grinding wheel on the basis of workpiece surface constructing mechanism of grinding.The grinding wheel wear particle trajectory are deduced from the kinematics.And take the trajectory of a minimum to simulate the processed workpiece surface topography.Under different grinding parameters, quick-point grinding workpiece surface microstructure is simulated, the influence of grinding parameters on the workpiece surface roughness is analyzed, and similarities and differences between simulation surface and actual measured surface are compared and analyzed.5,The causes leading to grinding vibration and classification are introduced.Frequency domain analysis is carried out during the idling experiments and quick-point grinding process to collect the acceleration signal.The vibration type under different grinding wheel linear velocity is determined.Analyzing the tangential and normal amplitude, and studying the variation trend of grinding parameters on the average amplitude.
