There are always a lot of dusts and/or slags material containing arsenic in metallurgical industry. Stocking and incorrect diposing the compounds is bound to cause pollution to the environment not only affect the sustainable development of nonferrous metal industry, and also threatens the survival environment of mankind. Along with the increasingly strict requirements of environmental protection in China, the arsenic problem will become the bottleneck limiting development and/or even survival of industry such as metallurgy, chemical engineering. This thesis aims to explore the recycling process for efficient separation arsenic and valuable metals in dust with high arsenic. While the arsenic dust mixed with reductant, fluxing additives, is placed in DC electric arc furnace to melt and volatilize arsenic. Using the nature that arsenic trioxide has larger steam pressure in high temperature, during melting process, arsenic sublimate, and then enrich as product of arsenic trioxide for sales in fumes. Simultaneously iron and tin are maintained and riched in the residues which can be appliyed as tin smelting material in tin smelter. Results obtained indicate that the optimal conditions for effectively disposal of tin-bearing high arsenic dust in 1250kVA DC electric furnace is:1000:5.5:5 of proportion mixing,-20-0Pa of furnance pressure,1-1.2 of silicate acidity, and 550~600℃ of temperatue. Meanwhile, the total investment for establishing production line to treat tin-bearing high arsenic dust with a cope of 2200 ton each year is 20,520,000 Chinese Yuan, and 422.4 t/a tin slag (about 126.72 tong metal tin) as well as 1564.6 t/A trioxide arsenic with a purity of 97% can be got. The internal recovery rate and the return time of the project reaches 17.3% and 5.79a respectively.
