Hydraulic support is the key equipment of long wall fully mechanized mining face,coal workers attach great importance to its development and improvement.With the rapid development of science and technology, the research on the hydraulic support is also more in-depth,high efficiency computer application technology and advanced optimization methods are gradually being applied to the study of hydraulic support on the basis of traditional research methods.First of all, the basic structure of the initial size of the hydraulic support top beam is designed. According the size of the hydraulic support top beam, three-dimensional solid models are built up by Pro/E software. Then,the model transformation is completed by using the data interface between Pro/E and ANSYS. Secondly,Model of the top beam of hydraulic support is analyzed by using ANSYS to obtain torsion stress and strain nephogram of hydraulic support and search the dangerous section. Last but most important, composite sheet top beam is considered that another material sheet is welded at key position of top beam of the hydraulic support, APDL language is used to change the beam section size ratio,composite sheet top beam section data correlation analysis changes of stress and strain are obtained by using finite element analysis and APDL.Through the comparison of experimental data, top beam with different material combination structure and the optimal size ratio in the dangerous section is found,optimization of composite sheet top beam is completed at the end.Through the data analysis of the results, The calculation formula of welding plate thickness is deduced within a certain error range.By analyzing the experimental data, drawing two-dimensional plots, scatter plots, curve fitting derived relationship weld plate size and the size of the stress..The optimized composite sheet top beam achieved low cost hydraulic support; It is not only to reduce the weight of the hydraulic support, but also to get higher price cap; Reducing the cost of hydraulic support can save money for enterprises and bring benefits and influence for enterprises at the same time; Therefore, analysis and design method has an important theoretical significance and technological support.
