Hydraulic support is a device which is the most used with fullymechanized coal mining face,and it is the most important technology andequipment, which can normally safe and reliable operation will play a decisiverole to achieve efficient, high-yield in mechanized mining face. Roof beams,base, cover beams, four-bar linkage as a major bearing structural parts inhydraulic support, which plays a vital role to the entire frame body, we mustpay attention to the issue of the security, reliablity and design cycles of thesupport in the development and design process of hydraulic support, based onthese aspects of the problem, this article make a research to the structure of thehydraulic support.The topics take the main body parts of the ZY8800/18/38of hydraulicsupport as the subject of the research, through the analysis of the workingenvironment in which the hydraulic support, and introduces the characteristicsof the external load of the support, and make a further force analysis andstrength checking to the support. Then follow the testing standard of thehydraulic support, taking the roof beams and base bear concentrated load,taking the roof beams bear bias and base bear concentrated loads taking the roofbeams bear bias and base bear torsional load of the three conditions as thesubject to analysis, making use of the SolidWorks software simulation modulecarry out the finite element analysis, and obtain the overall stress contourshydraulic support, stress of the roof beams and four-bar linkage contours andusing the features of the sensor ’s to monitor the stress and additional forcesoverall the support, and then using SolidWorks of the design module for themain structure of the support to be optimized and obtain a relatively excellentsize combinations. Finally, the results of optimization are compared of theformer results and the later results, finding that the case of additional forces ofthe support reduction, the maximum stress of the four-bar linkage is also greatlyreduced, that is, the force is greatly reduced to the support, while also providinga method for the design of ZY8800/18/38pattern hydraulic support to enhance the support to work more security and reduce the failure rate.This thesis bases the finite element analysis and optimization design ofmodern computer-based design methods in practical application to design thehydraulic support, it has a extremely important significance to the support of thesafety, and have some value to solve practical engineering problems.
