In recent years, with the advance of industrialization and urbanization process in China, Municipal solid waste showed a rapid growth trend, by bringing the occupation of land, environmental pollution and other issues more prominent.Municipal solid waste gasification technology is the organic components of the waste and air and water vapor by chemical reactions into a clean gas such as carbon monoxide, hydrogen, methane technology.Municipal solid waste gasification technology can quickly process a large amount of municipal solid waste, reached harmless, reduction, while also producing low calorific value gas for heating or power generation, which has a wide range of social, environmental and economic benefits.In MSW gasification industry, due to the complexity of the gasification process and the immaturity of the gasifier furnace structure, making the extent of MSW gasification technology of automation is not very high.But With the continuous development of computer technology and industrial control systems for a wide range of applications,MSW gasification technology development process automatic control will have a very good prospect.First, this paper outlines the background and significance of garbage gasification technology,and research status were analyzed at home and abroad. Secondly, after analyzing the Gasifier system of Boluo, a MSW gasification control system is designed basic on PLC, and upper computer software is developed by MCGS configuration software. According to the control requirements of system, hardware equipment which mainly including Master Control Equipment, temperature sensor, pressure transmitters, fluid meter, inverter and so on is selected to design the hardware design. Follow software design principle of Siemens PLC, a flow chart of the control system is drew and control programs is wrote by analyzing waste gasification control process.Upper computer software including UI and functions is developed by MCGS configuration software. This design selects the SIEMENS company PLC S7-200 as the core control equipment, combined with the MCGS configuration software on the gasification process online monitoring.Through temperature and pressure sensors,the control system collects data which are compared with the initial values of MSW Gasification. According to the result of the comparison, the PLC outputs the corresponding working instruction, thus controls the corresponding execution organization’s movement.Through the host computer software, it can realize the on-line data display, the parameter curve real-time display, the control parameters on-line adjustment, the soft button control and data management and so on.This article is written by using Siemens PLC programming software and PC configuration MCGS control procedures for MSW Gasification Process monitoring, making the control system with a high degree of automation, simple user-friendly interface and operation.This control system realizes the visual real-time monitoring by the MCGS configuration technology, and it can deal with the problems in the process of gasification in a timely manner.Finally, the system through the experiment in huizhou boluo, the results show that running in good condition.This project has a demonstration and promotion of reference, and it provide a useful reference for the development of automation MSW gasification technology.
