Motion control is the key technology in measurement system of cutting tools, which directly determines the stability of measuring instrument for cutting tools and the accuracy of tool parameter measurement.According to the rotation and movement of Z axis, and the rotation of X axis,the three-degree-of-freedom embedded motion control system is designed and improved, mainly from the following aspects of research in this paper:Firstly, embedded motion control system is the composition of "PC and motion controller and stepper motor ".Combining the analysis of Z axis rotation and movement,and the X axis rotation scheme, determining the motion control system based on ARM microprocessor as the kernel control module, the specific use of STM32F103RC as main control chip.Secondly, according to model analysis of motion controller, a scheme of motion control system is designed.The extended storage module and the manual pulse generator are used as the external device for the teaching function.Then, in the single axis motion control strategy, the speed control strategy and position control strategy are mainly studied, and the T curve algorithm and S curve algorithm are analyzed in detail. Multi-axis coordinated motion control strategy is the key point of multi-axis motion control system, which has a direct impact on the performance of motion control system.Finally, the motion control system completed the design of man-machine interface has the following functions:(1) Communication between PC and motion controller; (2) teaching function; (3) display and automatic preservation; (4) manual and automatic control function.The results shows the satisfy the requirements of motion control system.
