| With poplar particles and self-made inorganic adhesive as main raw materials, inorganic poplar particleboard was prepared by cold pressing technology. By means of single-factor experiment, the effect of different process parameters (adhesive consumption, density, pressing time, curing time and drying temperature) on physical and mechanical properties of inorganic poplar particleboard was studied. XRD and SEM were used to analyze influencing mechanism of inorganic poplar particleboard’s properties with different process parameters. Meanwhile, cone calorimeter and heat conduction coefficient detector were used to analyze fire retardancy and smoke suppression and thermal conductivity. Then, with inorganic poplar particleboard as substrate; eucalyptus veneer as decoration materials; epoxy resin as adhesive, on the basis of orthogonal experiment, combining with range analysis, variance analysis and significance test, effects of different glue spread, hot-pressing temperature and hot-pressing time on physical and mechanical properties and adhesion properties of composite material were studied.(1) Inorganic poplar particleboard was prepared under different adhesive consumption (53%,57%,61%,65%). It was tested with physical and mechanical properties and analyzed with effect of adhesive consumption on influencing mechanism. The results show that, Modulus of Rupture and Modulus of Elasticity of inorganic poplar particleboard firstly increase and then decrease with the increasing rate of adhesive, meanwhile, Internal Bond increases gradually and Thickness Swelling decreases. Modulus of Rupture and Modulus of Elasticity respectively reach the maximum at 21.5MPa and 4360MPa when adhesive consumption is 57%; and Internal Bond and Thickness Swelling respectively reach the maximum and minimum of 2.61MPa and 3.36% when adhesive consumption is 65%.(2) Inorganic poplar particleboard was prepared under different adhesive consumption (0.9g/cm3,1.0g/cm3, 1.1g/cm3,1.2g/cm3). It was tested with physical and mechanical properties and analyzed with effect of density on influencing mechanism. The results show that, with the increase of density, MOR and MOE increase gradually; IB firstly increases and then decreases which is contrary with TS. IB and TS reach the maximum and minimum of 3.54MPa and 3.99% respectively when density is 1.1g/cm3.(3) By means of single-factor experiment, inorganic poplar particleboard was prepared under different pressing time(12h,24h,36h,48h), curing time(6d,8d, 10d, 12d) and drying temperature(80℃,90℃,100℃,110℃) respectively. It was tested with physical and mechanical properties and analyzed with effect of different process parameters on influencing mechanism. The results show that, the longer pressing time and curing time is, the better the hydration reaction conducted. With the increased time of pressing and curing, MOR, MOE and IB firstly increase and then tend to be stable; 24h TS firstly decrease and then tend to be stable. Drying temperature has no significant influence to the particleboard’s properties. Taking particleboard’s properties and production efficiency into consideration, on the basis of single-factor experiment, the best process parameters are 24h,8d and 80℃。(4) Inorganic poplar particleboard was prepared under different adhesive consumption (53%,57%,61%,65%). The effect of different adhesive consumption on fire retardancy and smoke suppression and thermal conductivity was studied. The results show that, with the increase of adhesive consumption, heat release rate (HRR) decreases; peak time of HRR postpones; total heat release (THR) decreases which shows great fire retardancy. Meanwhile, with the increase of adhesive consumption, total smoke production (TSP) decreases, CO production increases, CO2 production decreases. But total production of CO and CO2 decreases which show great smoke suppression. Besides, the inorganic poplar is completely covered the description and requirement of thermal insulation material in modern architecture. With the increase of adhesive consumption, thermal conductivity presents slight increasing trend.(5) With inorganic poplar particleboard as substrate; eucalyptus veneer as decoration materials; epoxy resin as adhesive, on the basis of orthogonal experiment, effects of different glue spread, hot-pressing temperature and hot-pressing time on physical and mechanical properties and adhesion properties of composite material were studied. Among the three process parameters, the most significant one is glue spread; the better significant one is hot-pressing temperature; hot-pressing time has no much significance. So, the best process parameters are 120g/m2,90℃ and 5min。... |
