Research On Construction Of Oilfield Development Knowledge Base Based On Ontology

With the wide application of information technology in the petroleum industry, and the development of digital petroleum domain towards intelligent petroleum domain, more and more different kinds of knowledge base have been applied to information system of oil field enterprise. However, the construction of knowledge base with low levels has always hindered the pace of enterprise information construction, directly caused a great deal of knowledge resources can’t be a good sharing and effective use.In order to solve these problems, the paper based on the current field of knowledge management, knowledge engineering and includes knowledge expression and use of the related technology and theory, makes a research of the theory and method of the construction of oil field development knowledge base, and studies on the technology of knowledge expression and knowledge utilization. The main researches are as follows:1. According to the theory of knowledge classification and the problems of knowledge management and knowledge engineering in managing knowledge, the paper makes a research on the methods of classification based on the theme of the oil field knowledge, designs a relation model of the oil field lifecycle knowledge with layered structure, and devises a framework of oil filed development knowledge base by combing the ontology theory.2. In the light of knowledge sharing problems, the paper introduces the domain ontology theory into the construction of oil filed development knowledge base, analysis the construction method and principle of current ontology, and puts forward construction method of oil filed domain ontology based on Petroleum Thesaurus and subject classification system, taking advantage of the construction method of ontology based on Thesaurus.3. In this paper, we analyze the advantages of using ontology to express the oil field development knowledge through researching on the principle of selecting the knowledge expression method, and devises a kind of knowledge expression model which has three layers structure and takes the ontology as the core, then describe the representation of oil field development knowledge by using the OWL language. Finally, we design the data structure based on the relational database which can store oil field development knowledge effectively.4. The paper makes a research on the knowledge retrieval which is one of the knowledge utilization way. It analysis the existing problems of retrieval algorithm which based on the attribute similarity, studies the instance retrieval process, and then puts forward an improved instance retrieval algorithm based on the ontology and multilayer attributes similarity from the views of case representation and case retrieval. In the end, in order to test and verify the feasibility of above methods, the paper develops a prototype system of oil field development knowledge base based on ontology.
