Study On The Decoration Of Simulated Precious Wood Dyeing And Hot Wax Technology

The hot wax technology is one of methods of traditional furniture surface decoration in China, it widely used in the hardwood furniture in Ming Dynasity and Qing dynasty. In modern furniture production, to save precious timber resources, make the wood has the color of hardwood lumber, at the same time keep the natural wood texture. The hot wax technology as the traditional decoration technology is need to inherit and develop, it is necessary to make ordinary wood has precious wood color dyeing and wax technology research. This research has two parts, the determination of woodiness material dyes and dyeing with wax decorative wood. The results of research can increase the adornment of wood, and wood dyeing and wax application to provide certain theoretical application, it makes the hot wax technology can be applied to the furniture production in modern, and makes it further inheritance and development.(1) Making four kinds of woodiness material after dyeing and wax as the research object, to research color distribution and the spectral reflectance of color performance for four kinds of dyes which used in wood after dyeing and hot wax by experiment. The results show that the wax can minich color distribution of the woodiness material after dyeing, and the ability to reduce the gap between spectral reflectance of wood after dyeing. Basic dye in the four kinds of dyes, color range, the smaller and minimize differences, spectral reflectivity change is suitable for the calculation of follow-up study; Concentration changes of alkaline dye, a few can reach the best adornment effect.(2) Making wood after imitation of precious dyeing and wax as the research object, through the computer color matching method, experimental method of precious wood formula, after dyeing and wax color performance. Research surface roughness, gloss, texture of the phenomenon in adornment effect. The results show that the three kinds of dyeing formula can be used under certain conditions. Just imitation dyeing can’t get the best decorative effect. In imitation of wood wax decoration of the reentry after dyeing, can make rare wood woodiness material has a flat, stable color performance, the surface smooth level off, slippery and mild, and keep natural wood natural decorative performance.
