Central water sump in underground coal mine is used for storage of mine inflow and precipitation slurry, which is also an essential facility in preventing mine flood. Cleaning of the accumulation of coal slime in water storage timely is to ensure the completion of its function and the key link for the realization of safe production. "Coal mine safety regulations" has special strict rules for this. Water sump slurry dredging becomes a big problem for industry because of the harsh underground space and the special adhesion of the coal slime. So for, Cleaning water sump slime mainly adopts artificial digging, which is a density work for laborer and is ineffective, besides, it has always been an urgent problem to solve in the production of coal mine mechanization degree lower working part.This paper is based on the project "Research on the key technology of the process and equipment of automatic cleaning system for water sump", which is cooperated by Henan Polytechnic University and Xinxiang Energy Company Limited Co., Ltd of Jiaozuo coal industry(Group). This article aims to develop a new dredging process system and its supporting equipment, Hoping have a fundamental breakthrough in water sump dredging.The article main content is as follow:(1) The new process of non-slurry dredging method for water sump slime is put forward, which based on the analysis coal mine sump cleaning process and its environment. The process can be used to digging and transferring slime, which can realize the automatic, parallel, continuous operation with the advantages of simple technological process, less pollution in transportation, obvious characteristics of high operating efficiency.(2)Based on the new technology of pipeline transportation, the physical and chemical characteristics of water sump slime are studied. According to the sample of water sump slime which collected from the second Zhaogu coal mine of HNEC, the researcher test multiple sets of trial data including slurry concentration, particle size, slump, water loss rate etc. The paper has an analysis of the influence of various physical and chemical properties to conveying coal slurry. Integrated a variety of factors, the judgment criteria(TIF) of coal slurry pipeline feasibility transportation is established.(3)By doing large loop transmission trial and establishing the rheological model on the water sump slime, the rheological curve and rheological equation about the water sump slime are obtained, which lays a foundation for the new technology of pipeline transportation.(4)Shaft spiral aggregate、double spiral feeding、hydraulic control and other key technologies is studied. On this basis, the integration of cleaning- pumping combined machine is accomplished.(5) The prototype test on the ground is completed with the test platform. The industrial test is performed in Gu hansan coal mine of HNEC, the test shows that: the machine can efficiently complete the water sump slime digging and pumping. Compared with traditional process, the efficiency of non-confect process is improved 3-10 times.
