This paper describes the basis of the country, within and outside the R & D pipeline inspection technology and application on the details of the most widely used magnetic flux leakage detection techniques within the basic principles of the status quo and the lack of internal and external defect recognition technology. In Φ377 type magnetic flux leakage within the detector, for example, based on the analysis of the composition of magnetic flux leakage detector, features, and performance indicators, identify methods to study the format, structure and defects in the pipeline magnetic flux leakage testing data, the structure of the pipeline characteristics and defects were classified, the establishment of a typical pipe defects characteristic structural features and parameters set, the control parameters of the pipeline detection signal identification, can significantly improve the recognition rate of defects. In order to improve the positioning accuracy of the detection signal is developed ground- Box intelligent positioning positioning positioning method, and using mileage correction coefficient method to locate the detector in the pipeline to improve the positioning accuracy of the detection device. The above-mentioned principles and methods used in the detection of yellow green line crude oil pipeline project, significantly improve the structural characteristics of the pipeline and defect characteristics recognition rate and efficiency of data analysis, interpretation; based on the results of the data analysis part of the on-site excavation point defects, positioning accuracy error from the original 20 m lower than about 2m. Application of the research results, not only to enhance the detection accuracy in the pipeline, but also reduces the pipeline excavation and maintenance costs, indicating the correctness and good prospects of research results.
