| In the coal production site, the measurement of surrounding rock’s displacement usually use of the method of ultrasonic ranging, which has the clearly principle, low cost and applied simply. However, noise echoes in the tunnel which greatly interferes the normal use of ultrasonic equipment, with low equipment quality in terms of security request. Another point is the traditional equipment generally not suitable for in an explosive atmosphere. Underground tunnel is so complex and long that there should set up plenty of monitors. Since traditional monitors have big sizes and complex requirements, they brought great inconvenience to the installation and operation.In order to solve the problem of equipment violating the provisions, equipment easily affected by the environment, and the inconvenience the cable bringing about, a brand new system comes out in this dissertation. The system,by researching the WSN, is based on STM32/CC2530 chip which is an intrinsically safe tunnel rock displacement monitoring system:1) Design the ultrasonic surrounding rock displacement sensor based on CC2530. With sequence matching principle, the improved receiving circuit and the split design, the energy loss and diffraction interfere can be effectively reduced in the process at the same time. The design of the communication substation based on STM32, which can be configured for sensor properties and to provide the basic query function.2) Monitoring system of underground adopts Zig Bee wireless technology, and design the suitable communication mode for narrow tunnel linear, and set aside standby redundant communication links, drastically improves not only its distensibility, but also the reliability of monitoring and intelligent level.3) Design the system that suits mining intrinsically safe tunnel rock displacement monitoring and can be used under exploding potentials.The last in the dissertation make some trials. Laboratory testing results show that the system can accurately measure distance information, Volatility is not more than ±4 mm,the error is not more than ±10mm, and measurement range increased higher than 8m, which can effectively eliminate the impact of noise and meet general requirements of the use in coal tunnels. The whole system achieve efficient measurement, and safe, reliable, and monitoring friendly requirements.
