| In recent years, due to the increase of citizens’ environmental protection consciousness, molded pulp industry are developed very quickly in China. In the past, the study of molded pulp is mainly concentrated in low value-added industrial packaging with large draft angle. This kind of products can not contain the goods very well, which cause its bad performance in cushioning and protection. Therefore, it is necessary to study the technology of fine industrial packaging pulp molded products. In this study, the renewable bamboo and bagasse pulp were used as raw material to study the technology of fine industrial packaging pulp molded products which involves the preparation of pulp slurry, addition of the functional chemicals, filling of inorganic filler and the technology of mold design, the specific research contents and conclusions are as follows:Fine industrial packaging pulp molded products were prepared with bamboo and bagasse pulp with the automatic pulp molded equipment. The results showed that the fines in the pulp have great effect on the draft performance. After a mild beating(within 30 ° SR), the tensile and burst index showed a trend of rapid increase, and when the beating degree rise to 30 ° SR, the tensile and burst index reached a better balance; with the increase use of bagasse pulp, the tensile and burst index tend to increase at first and then decrease. When bagasse content is at 20%(mass fraction), the tensile and burst index reached maximum, which increased by 91.68% and 36.97% respectively, compared to 100% bamboo.Papermaking chemical additives such as AKD, PAE and CPAM were added to prepare fine industrial packaging pulp molded products. All kinds of chemicals were studied by the single factor experiment, and the best adding amount is: the AKD dosage at 3.0%, the dosage of PAE at 1.5%, and the CPAM dosage at 0.03%. Finally, the molded pulp products surface morphology before and after adding chemical agents was observed by using scanning electron microscopy. After adding chemicals, the surface of the products becomes smoother.Cationic starch was applied to preprocess the inorganic filler PCC, and the effects of the inorganic filler PCC on the properties of molded pulp products were studied by detecting the ash content, whiteness, tensile and surface roughness, etc. At last, the impact of inorganic filler PCC on the use of AKD was carried out. The results showed that after adding a certain amount of PCC, the whiteness of pulp molded products and surface smooth is improved, while the tensile, burst index declined, and the use of PCC weakened the use effect of AKD. Compared to adding PCC and CS respectively, the addition of PCC with CS preprocessed can reduce the decline of strength properties and AKD waterproof effect.Finally, the features of fine industrial packaging pulp molded mold design were summarized, and the application of Pro/E software was introduced. Through specific examples, the process of mold design method of pulp molded products was demonstrated, which has certain reference significance for practical production. |
