The technology of Nitrogen oxide storage-reduction under lean burn conditions(NSR) is considered as the most promising technology of NOx elimination in the field of compression ignition engines, and the most urgent and challenging subject in the automotive sector. In this thesis, research on the performance of DME-NSR is carried out experimentally under the support of NSFC.By using Pt/BaCeO3/γ-Al2O3 as the catalyst, characterization methods of NO-TPD,DME-TPSR, and the H2-TPSR are adopted to study the properties of the catalysts.NOx storage/reduction(NSR) performance were also studied using NOx adsorption experiment at constant temperature and storage-reduction experiment, meanwhile exploring the influence of the different experiment conditions on the DME-the NSR process. And then effects of O2, H2 O and CO2 on the catalyst were studied by changing the mixture composition in the absorption and reduction periods. With H2 as a reducing agent, investigating H2-NSR performance and comparing to the DME-NSR process, so as to lay the foundation for development and application of DME-NSR technology. This article performs the detailed research about the performance of DME-NSR catalysts for NOx emission of DME engine, which lay a solid foundation for the research on low emissions of the DME engine.
