Panax quinquefoliusis the perennial herbaceous plants of Araliaceae, which have nourish Yin tonifying Qi. Research shows that the main functional component of ginseng is saponin, which can effectively strengthen the central nervous, protect cardiovascular and enhance human immunity. Rhodiola rosea, also is a recognized nourishing ingredients in Asia. The main functional component is salidroside, which can be used for promoting blood circulation. Pharmacological experiments show that salidroside has the functions of antioxidant, antidiabetics and anti-inflammatory. Acanthopanax is a kind of medcinal plant. The main efficacy component is Elentheroside, which can tonify infirmity, make people strong, and prolong life. According to the experience of agreement party, co-extraction of these three kind of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) to process a health care product possessing the properties of antifatigue and high tolerance to anoxia is benefit for the people who are sub-health and in high strength work environment in current society.Therefore, clearly defined the efficacy of compound health products composition, clarifiedthese active components in the process of extracting migration patterns, is to control the compound health care product quality, improve its efficacy.This article comparative study on the system the compound health care products in American ginseng saponin(ginseng saponin), rhodiola glycosides and acanthopanax glycosides of detection method, and on this basis, optimizing the extract technology of compound health care products, illuminates the efficacy composition migration patterns and determine an optimal production technology of compound care products, maximize the use of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) value, ensure the quality of the compound health care products and efficacy.In this paper, a new high performance liquid chromatography(HPLC) detective method was established, which could detect American ginseng, rhodiola, and acanthopanax saponin from compound health care products at the same time.Extracted by 60% ethanol as solvent, the method using chromatographic column Kromasil 100-5 c18(250 x 4.6 mm, 5 microns), with 0.1% phosphoric acid- acetonitrile as mobile phase in gradient elution mixture, under the condition, the Rb1 ginsenosides, Re ginsenosides, rhodiola glucoside, acanthopanax glycosides B and acanthopanax glycosides E got good separation, with respect to the average recovery rate was between 99.5% ~ 106.8%, relative standard deviation is 0.5% ~ 0.5%.This method has the advantages of good reproducibility and high recovery rate, is suitable for a variety of saponins in complex health products detection at the same time.In this paper also analyzed the method of colorimetry specified in the evaluation and technical specification of health food(the ministry of health in 2003 version) to detect total saponins. Clarified the main influence factors of Amberlite resinadsorption capacity in determing all kinds of saponins. The poor specificity of Saponin and vanillin chromogenic reaction is key factor of the colorimetric method to detect the contents of total saponins. By sifting through suitable alternative resin replace Amberlite resin used for isolation and purification total saponins detection, or alter the polarity of elution solvent can improve the accuracy of colorimetric method.By orthogonal experimental method to optimize the extraction technology of compound health care products, significantly improve the efficacy of ingredients in the compound health care products.The optimization of extraction process parameters of compound health products are as follows: solvent ethanol concentration of 70%, and solid-liquid ratio 1:15, 3 h each extraction time, extraction times, 2 times in the optimization process, saponin content in compound health products reached 6.34%, saponin extraction yield was 92.0%, rhodiola glucoside content reached 0.87%, rhodiola glucoside extraction yield of 93.9%.Orthogonal optimization of the extraction process of screening for trial production, and use the HPLC to monitor the extraction of active components in the process of transfer rule, the results showed that the extract powder of saponin content and extract yield and other indexes achieve a good level, saponins transfer rate is 90.54%, rhodiola glucoside transfer rate of 94.01%, medicinal herbs extraction rate reached 27.1%, maximum utilization of the medicinal value, has high economic benefit.
