With the accelerated pace of new rural construction, farmers’ mode of production, living ways and mental outlook has changed greatly, as well as rural appearance. A batch of typical new rural construction has sprung up throughout the country. In the process of building the new countryside, although the rapid development of agricultural production and township enterprises has brought huge economic benefits to rural areas, the rural ecological environment suffers from heavier pollution pressure. As the important social and economic area, the ecological environment’s degradation trend in rural areas will not only seriously restricted agricultural stable income, farmers’ wealth accumulation and rural modernization process, making the “three rural issues” more and more difficult to resolve, but also will directly affect the sustainable development of our country’s economy and society as a whole, people’s health, food security and social stability. Therefore, strengthening rural ecological environmental protection is an urgent and difficult task in the process of current rural economic and social development, as well as the top priority of our country’s ecological environment protection work in new period.Solving ecological environment problems in the new rural construction requires solid theoretical guidance. Practice has proved that ecological view of Marxism is the concentrated embodiment of scientific world outlook and methodology. By using the viewpoint of practice, it starts from the history of human society, and then points out that the relationship between human and nature is that real people utilize real and perceptual practical activities to actively recognize and reform realistic nature, man and nature achieve the unity in practice, thus a new ecological view forms.Based on the background, this paper will combine the current situation of ecological environment in new rural construction, select Jixi Village of Xinghua as the case study object, analyze its ecological environment problems and the reasons thatcaused these problems, and put forward corresponding countermeasures guided by the ecological view of Marxism, aiming at helping improve its rural ecological environment, promoting its sustainable development of agriculture and maintaining the farmers’ physical and mental health, besides, providing a reference for other rural areas that have similar situations to solve environmental problems. This paper consists of five chapters. Chapter one: introduction, elaborates the topic selection background and research significance, overseas and domestic research status, basic framework and research methods. Chapter two: relevant theory overview, first discusses the theoretical source and main content of Marxist ecological view, and expounds China’s successive leaders’ development and innovation of Marxist ecological concept; and then outlines the concepts of new rural construction and ecological environment. Chapter three: analysis of the current situation of ecological environment in our country’s new rural construction——a case study of Jixi village of Xinghua, explores the main ecological environment problems existing in Jixi village:lack of cultivated land resources, crisis of water resources and aggravated air pollution through investigation, and analyses the reasons that caused these problems:economic, political, and cultural factor.
