The drawing as one of the important steps in the spinning process, which plays a key role in improving the uniformity of the sliver and the follow-up yarn quality. Currently on the market the widespread used drawing frame, whose drive system is equipped with a mechanical gearbox, and need to frequently replace mechanical gear when adjusting the weight unevenness. Obviously, this adjustment method has couldn’t keep up with the pace of the age in the pursuit of the degree of automation of today. For foreign high-end drawing frame, it has completely eliminated the traditional mechanical gearbox, and equipped with automatic evereven, whose adjustment method of the weight unevenness is automatic adjustment mode. However, because the domestic autoleveller technology with the foreign autoleveller still has gaps, at the same time, because foreign autoleveller is expensive,so the cost performance of drawing frame with automatic evereven is not high, and it is not popularized in China currently. This article is based on the research status of present adjustment method of the weight unevenness of drawing frame at home and abroad and the market demand, analyzes the working principle and characteristics of the weight unevenness adjustment in drawing frame, and put forward the solution of a digital adjustment module of the weight unevenness without automatic evereven-Electronic Gear Adjustment System, and designs the related software and hardware system. The main research work are as follows:Firstly, the paper explores the problems of sliver unevenness, drafting mechanism of drawing frame, and drawing sliver weight control and other aspects, and combining with the actual usage analyzes the drawbacks of the traditional way of regulating the weight unevenness, studies and analyzes the characteristics of servo electronic gear technology, and focuses on the feasibility and superiority that using electronic gear to replace the traditional mechanical technology gearset, and puts forward the solution of electronic gear adjustment system of electronic gear.Secondly, based on the above solution, the paper analyzes and designs the hardware structure of electronic gear adjustment system, and introduces in detail the hardware characteristics and selection of the PLC control unit, frequency control module, servo control unit, front roller speed measuring module, man-machine interface(touch screen) and other parts in detail, and clear the servo system control mode.Thirdly, the paper divides the software modules and programs the upper machine and lower machine. The lower machine uses WPLSoft 2.40 to do the PLC program design, and realizes the movement control of each part. The upper machine uses DOPSoft to edit each display frame of touch screen, and realizes the human-computer interaction function.Fourthly, based on the completion of the analysis and design of system, the electronic gear adjustment system was installed in the certain model high-speed drawing frame of joint venture to do the debugging and production experiments. By analyzing the related data collected, the results show that the electronic gear adjustment system shows great superiority on the adjustment method of weight unevenness, and compared to the traditional way the time and frequency of weight adjustment decline much, and can make the output sliver improved significantly on weight unevenness and weight control, at the same time the stability and reliability of system when running long time can meet the design requirements.Finally, the paper summarizes the study and implementation of digital electronic gear adjustment system, and discusses the follow-up research direction of its deficiencies.
