In this thesis, aiming at the study on the law of overlying strata movement and roof control of steep coal expand wording, combining with the occurrence characteristics and geological conditions of extra thick coal seam in Xinjiang Jiangou coal mine, putting forward the concept of water retaining mining in the mining of steep coal seam, the aquifer and supply water source of steep coal seam are analyzed. The main factors that influence the water flowing fractured channel are analyzed by numerical calculation method. The comprehensive study such as field research, theoretical analysis and field measurement are adopted to analyze and research the regularity of overlying strata activity in the steeply inclined and extra thick coal seam, hard roof control technology and top coal weakening technology of extra thick coal seam. The research results can be used as a reference for water resource conservation mining in steeply inclined coal seam. The main research contents of this paper are as follows:(1)The main factors that influence the water flowing fractured channel are analyzed by numerical calculation method, and the disturbance of the aquifer is disturbed. Based on the numerical calculation method, the main influence factors and the migration law of the roof of the water flowing fractured in the steeply inclined coal seam are analyzed. The relevant measures were adopted to protect the water from three supply water sources.(2) Due to the large roof hanging area over the period of the pressure is likely to cause a large impact accident on the working surface after mining multiple coal seams. The roof is weakened by the deep hole roof pre splitting blasting, the calculation and selection of blasting parameters for 4301 and 4501 work face in Jiangou coal mine are calculated and selected. Deep hole pre-splitting blasting effect has been tested by the microseismic monitoring system.It is easy to accumulate high elastic energy because the hard coal seam in Jiangou coal mine, and it is hard for top coal caving because of hard stress concentration. Weakening the special thick top coal by blasting to ensure the rapid and efficient fall of top coal. In order to improve the mining speed and avoid the accumulation of top coal caving and roof elastic properties, the pre splitting blasting is put forward for the two working face of +518 level. Water injection and softening of No. 45 coal seam are carried out during. the mining period because of the thickness dirt band in 4501 mining face, and then the top coal is to be blastedThis thesis contains 68 pieces of figures, 10 pieces of tables and 85 pieces of references.
