In the coal mine safety production, gas and coal dust explosion serious threat to the lives and safety of underground workers, restricting the development of mine production, and therefore, it become an important task that barrier and inhibit gas and coal dust explosion flame propagation. Automatic spray explosion suppression apparatus using active explosion suppression technology can effectively barrier the spread of the explosion to the protected area, in which the flame detector as an important part of the underground barrier explosion-proof devices, it is directly related to the success of explosion suppression or not, and it will inevitably become the focus of the study.Spectrum detection method is currently the most widely used flame detection method. UV detection compared with the infrared spectroscopy, it is possible to avoid a complex background noise, which can greatly reduce the workload of the control system for processing signals,with higher reliability, but it also has high sensitivity,fast response characteristics, the subject referred UV flame detector will be applied to underground barrier explosion-proof system, the barrier explosion-proof device specifications for flame sensor response time, there are strict requirements, and the flame tube ultraviolet detection with high sensitivity, thus becoming the first choice for explosion flame sensing portion of the barrier explosion-proof device. However,due to the presence of UV power tube self-discharge phenomenon will produce detect interference, and therefore have to eliminate the interference of self-generated through certain measures to strengthen the stability of the flame detector. In this paper, a dual UV flame detector is devised based on the UV Pulse Method, can greatly eliminate false positives, rapid response to the explosion flame signal while effectively suppressing the self-discharge interference and improve the detection reliability.Based on the development of UV flame detector above and STM32 MCU technology, this paper designed a set of automated powder explosion suppression devices(referred to explosion suppression means).Gives the core part of the flame detector and the hardware and software detailed design solutions of explosion suppression controller, combining intrinsically safe power and explosion suppression container in market to make connection test, measured by test data shows the explosion-proof devices capable of blocking achieve good gas(gas and coal dust)explosion flame propagation barrier suppression.In order to verify the effect of explosion-proof barrier explosion suppression apparatus in roadway in time, this paper gives the underground tunnel barrier explosion-proof device test platform design, through this platform not only can effectively detect the barrier properties of explosive devices, but can also be used to study gas Dust explosion flame propagation in the underground, provide a theoretical basis for the write-barrier installation specifications of explosion-proof equipment.
