Coal is the subject of our nation energy structures, but coal spontaneous combustion fire frequent occurrence not only has threatened life property safety, but also restricts coal industry sustainable development. With the development of science and technology, many modern technology applies to the control of coal fire, and new materials are urgently needed to provide a new method, a new way for the coal fire management,so the more imminent task is to develop new materials for fire prevention in mineIn this paper,based on the description of the domestic and foreign fire prevention materials research and application,developing a kind of expansion filling material of fire prevention which can be used for high area, large range, long distance in mine is proposed. Theoretical basis for the selection of the base material, activator, expansive agent and foam stabilizing agent in the fire prevention material are detaily descriped, and the test method of fluidity, expansion ratio, material temperature, compressive strength are introduced. Referring to the method of preparation of cement foam, the base material, activator, expansive agent and foam stabilizer as the four part of the expansion of filling materials.is optimized,By the methods of test and data comparison, the influence of the weight respectively(expansive agent, foam stabilizer, water, activator) on fluidity, expansion time, expansion ratio, temperature, compressive strength, etc. are researched. The reasonable proportion of the four kinds of materials is given, and a kind of construction technology for the actual operation in mine.is formulated.The expansion filling materials mixed with water in certain proportion has good fluidity, which can be transported to the fire area by special equipment, then the liquidity decreases until no liquidity and then gradually expand. Materials expand to the gap in coal surface, including the expansion to the height, the distance. The materials have the performances of high temperature resistant(refractory temperature higher than 1250℃), not easily drain and expansion, and the two ignition phenomenon did not occur after the fire have been controlled.The expansion filling materials, which has always used to Mongolia five ranch coal mine in firth section, achieved remarkable results. So it has a certain guidance significance and application value for prevention of coal seam.
