At present,with the increasing power demand by the people, the capacity power system and load is also rising.And most of the load in power system is inductive load with low power factor,which will affect the capacity of the power supply in transmission,resulting the consequences like power loss in the power system and the voltage drop of the line and son on,so the capacitors are needed to compensate the reactive power.But because of the frequent operation in the capacitors,the fault rate of the capacitors are so high that the intelligent online monitoring is badly needed.The paperIn this paper,we design a real-time online monitoring system of the high voltage capacitors with the data analysis and fault diagnosis system.Then the system is applied to the Dashikou 110 k Vsubstation in Jingdezhen city. The system adopts the distributed structure,which is very conveniently for the field installation.The system is mainly used to obtain the running state of the device consider with the history and the current data,and then evaluate weather the device is in a normal state,and display all the status at the same time.When the device is judged to be abnormal,it will alarm and notice the relative personnel to deal with the fault.The system can operate perfectly well in the field,it can provide and save all kinds of data of the device as fault analysis and performance evaluation,it can also raise the alarm when finding the defects of the device and so on,which is of great significance to reduce the defect rate and the fault rate of the high voltage shunt capacitors.
