| Objective: Detect the expression of EGFR and HIF-1alpha in colorectal cancer, discussed the relationship and the correlation of them in Colorectal carcinoma onclinicopathologic feature.Methods:56cases of colorectal adenocarcinoma specimens were selected as theexperimental group from January to October,2012in Affiliated Hospital of QinghaiUniversity, the normal mucosa tissue which was adjacent to carcinoma about5cm inthe same samples was taken as control group. Detecting the expression of EGFR andHIF-1α was examined by immunohistochemical S-P method.Result:1. EGFR positive rate were23.21%,55.36%in normal tissue adjacent to carcinomaand colorectal cancer. Positive expression of EGFR and HIF-1alpha in colorectalcancers was significantly higher than that of normal tissue adjacent to carcinoma(χ2=12.128,P<0.05);HIF-1alpha positive rate were17.86%,60.71%in normal tissueadjacent to carcinoma and colorectal cancer. Positive expression HIF-1alpha incolorectal cancers was significantly higher than that of normal tissue adjacent tocarcinoma (χ2=21.561,P<0.05).2. The strength of the expression of EGFR and HIF-1alpha had nothing to do withgender, age, degree of tumor differentiation (χ2=0.355ã€2.043ã€1.951,χ2=0.296ã€2.147ã€2.496, P>0.05),but that was relatived to colorectal cancer infiltration depth, lymph node metastasis and TNM staging(χ2=10.501ã€8.553ã€9.938;χ2=9.369ã€6.421ã€11.070,P<0.05);in addition, along with the lymph node metastasis, invasiondegree of progress and the progress of the clinical TNM staging of colorectal cancer,EGFR and expression positive rate increased gradually (positive rate for41.67%ã€73.33%ã€76.47%ï¼›28.57%ã€45.45%ã€63.33%ã€100.00%). With the progress of theclinical TNM staging, in patients with stage0, stage I and stage II both positive expression rate differences between groups have no statistical significance(EGFRpostive rate for33.33%ã€44.44%ã€35.00%,χ2=0.261,P>0.05ï¼›HIF-1αpostive ratefor33.33%ã€77.78%ã€35.00%,χ2=4.805,P>0.05); Stage III and stage IV patientsboth positive expression rate is higher than other stage group(EGFR postive rate for77.78%ã€83.33%ï¼›HIF-1α postive rate for77.78%ã€83.33%).3.The Spearman rank correlation test analysis showed a positive correlation betweenthe expression of EGFR and HIF-1alpha(rs=0.851,P<0.05).Conclusion: EGFR and HIF-1alpha participated in colorectal cancer occurrence anddevelopment process. They were the reference indexes for colorectal cancer biologybehavior evaluation. Joint detection expression of EGFR and HIF-1alpha incolorectal cancer contribute to the diagnosis of colorectal cancer, diagnose themalignant degree of pathological changes and the prognosis of patients. |
