Microwave thermal ablation has been widely used for the clinical treatment of tumors, andits basic principle is that moleculars of the cancerous tissue do the high-speed movement under theinfluence of the electric field of the microwave,the heat which is generated by the movement ofmoleculars can dehydrate moleculars so as to kill cancer cells. Microwave thermal ablation oftumors has been validated in clinical treatment,but the problem is that how to monitor effectsdynamically during the treatment. We will combine functional near infrared spectroscopy (fNIRs)and microwave treatment technique to address this problem,and through the real-time nearinfrared spectroscopy data to monitor effects of the microwave therapy.Papers methods and content:1、Throughestablishing the distribution ofmicrowave thermalablation temperature field by the finite element simulation software COMSOL we can getdynamic distribution of temperature field and the effective destruction volume model.2、Buildhardware platforms of microwave thermal ablation and acquisition monitoring system, design thePC software of acquisition monitoring system.3、By vitro experiments to test the feasibility of thesubject, mainly through the changes in the relationship between the reduced scattering coefficientand the microwave power and action time.The main innovation of the paper:1、Tissue thermal parameters use temperature-dependentvariable to replace the previous constant during the finite element simulation of the temperaturefield.2、By COMSOL software, build the dynamic distribution of microwave thermal ablationtemperature field.3、Integrated probe combine temperature needle and Y-type optical fiberprobe,so you can the integrated probe to measure the temperature and the near infraredspectroscopy.4、 Propose the use of functional near-infrared spectroscopy as the real-timemonitoring tool during microwave thermal ablation of tumors, by acquisition monitoring systemdo the microwave thermal ablation experiments for biological tissue,and throngh the experimentsvalidate the effectivess of the method of the functional near-infrared spectroscopy.
