Bioelectrical impedance measurement technique is a kind of detection technologies,which use the electrical impedance characteristics and the regularity of variation ofbiological tissue and organ to extract the biomedical information related to humanphysiological and pathological conditions. It has many advantages, such as non-invasive,painless, no radiation, low cost, simple operation, rich information of body functions andso on. Sub-health is a kind of lower quality health status that human body and spirit areboth in neither disease nor healthy. The sub-health did not reach the level of organicdisease, so using the clinical testing to evaluate the sub-health did not obtain the expectedresults. Therefore, it is very meaningful to use bioelectrical impedance technology toachieve non-invasive detection of sub-health.We can use the electrical impedance characteristics of human body to predicate thecontent of fat, water, muscle, salt and other elements. The study showed that these indexesespecially the without-fat weight (weight subtract the fat weight) has a close contact withthe physical condition. You can also analyze the cell-level changes with the bodyimpedance. Sub detector need to pay focus attention to these indexes related above, so thispaper proposes a new sub-health detection theory that using human electrical impedanceinformation to achieve qualitative and quantitative analysis of sub-health state. The detailsare as follows:(1) Design a body impedance measurement platform based on XMEGAmicro-controller, the excitation signal’s frequency is0Hz~1MHz.With the platform, wecan achieve electrical impedance measuring of human limbs and torso under differentfrequencies, and the measured data will be stored in the database.(2) Combination the two means of sub-health questionnaire and TANITA MC-180Body Composition Analyzer to make a test to different age groups. With the results on thehuman body, we make a study on the relevance between the human electrical impedanceinformation and the sub-health state. We find their roughly regularity.(3) We make a association between electrical impedance information with thediagnosis of human sub-health database via the above study, the results of the assessment can be formed by the sub-health database. Besides, a expert database is established whichcan achieve therapeutic intervention for different health situation, which also can givecertain therapeutic intervention recommendations.
