ObjectiveTo preliminarily exprore the diagnostic value of autofluorescencebronchoscopy in lesions of the airway.MethodThis project were included from January2013to October2013in ourhospital autofluorescence bronchoscopy cases of114cases,all patientsunderwent Olympus Evis Lucera electronic bronchoscope,using both theautofluorescence bronchoscopy(AFB) mode and white light bronchoscopy(WLB) mode,after checking the order by the WLB’s first AFB. Biopsies ofthe affected regions were taken to our hospital for pathology examination.Observed WLB, AFB respective endoscopic and histological findings,Comparison of the diagnostic value of WLB、AFB in accordance withpathological findings.Results114patients were made clear pathology. They were as follows: normal、inflammation、Tuberculosis in46, defined as pathological negative; lungcancer in68, defined as a pathological positive. A total of101casesof abnormal changes on AFB examination,the positive rates in lung cancerand non-lung cancer were97.06%,76.09%(p=0.01).AFB and WLB sensitivitiesof lung cancer were97.06%,70.59%(p=0.538),specificities were23.91%,28.26%(p=0.635),positive predictive values were65.35%,59.30%(p=0.978),and negative predictive values were84.62%,39.39%(p=0.006). Wethen determined the sensitivity for diagnosing leisions of microscopiclevel III group. The sensitivities of AFB and WLB sensitivities of lungcancer were84.78%,84.78%;Then we determined the sensitivity fordiagnosing leisions of microscopic level II group. The sensitivities of AFB and WLB diagnosis of lung cancer were49.09%,25.71%,AFB(49.09%)washiger than that of WLB(25.71%),the difference was significant (p=0.027).ConclusionAutofluorescence bronchoscopy is mainly used for the diagnosis of lungcancer;Although the order of the first AFB after checking by WLB,thesensitivity of AFB for detecting lesion of Early Lung Cancer was higerthan WLB.Autofluorescence bronchoscopy may have important applicationsin the early diagnosis of central lung cancer、NSCLC patients withpre-operative assessment and review aspects of surgery.
