Objective Investigating on occupational health status of styrene in sanitary ware manufacturing in Hangzhou to provide the basis for the formulating countermeasures and health supervision. And provide information for the researching1,2-dichloroethane(1,2-DCE) on lipid metabolism in workers occupationally exposed to DCE. Methods After a review of the literature, and researching on CNKI, PUBMED, WanFang, VIP and other databases to collect relevant information. Results The average age was36.4years and male39.8, female35.3years old. The average length of exposure for2.1years. The levels of small and medium enterprises are much higher than the micro-enterprises in awareness of occupational hazards, occupational health hazards and protective equipment monitoring, etc. The survey found on1,2-dichloroethane(1,2-DCE) that the mean serum TC and TG levels and the frequencies with enhanced TC and TG levels in exposure group were significantly higher than those in control group. The frequencies of enhanced TC of≤35years old sub-group in exposure group were significantly higher than those in control group. The frequencies of enhanced TC and TG of>35years old sub-group in exposure group were significantly higher than those in control group. The mean serum TC level in female exposure group was significantly higher than that in female control group. There was no difference of the fatty liver morbidity between exposure group and control group. Conclusion Management must be strengthened on sanitary ware manufacturing, especially on the micro-enterprises.1,2-DCE exposure can cause workers increased serum TG and the age difference, but the difference is not obvious in serum TC. It may be more obvious on serum TC than serum TG...
