BackgroundType2diabetes mellitus (T2DM) is a metabolic disease of multiple etiologies, alongwith sugar, fat, protein, and metabolic disorders such as insulin secretion and insulinresistance. Type2diabetes mellitus belong to XiaoKe Disease in Traditional ChineseMedicine (TCM) areas.Chinese medicine treatment of diabetes with few side effects, andshould not be hypoglycemia sugar reaction occurs, relieve symptoms miraculous. Westernmedicine treatment of diabetic is significantly to hypoglycemic but not ideal to relievesymptoms, so broad therapeutic prospects in the Chinese medicine treatment of diabetes. Therefore, the study of Chinese medicine treatment of diabetes and the pathogenesis ofcomplications and the efficacy of Chinese medicine is becoming a new hotspot. Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of Jiawei Shenqidihuang Decoction in patients withT2DM who are Qi-Yin Deficiency,to explore the multi-target mechanism of action in itstreatment of diabetes.Subjects and MethodsA total of onset T2DM patient newly diagnosed95cases, the experimental group:Integrative Medicine50cases; the control group:45cases of purely Western medicinetreatment group. Observed three months, evaluated the efficacy and security before andafter treatment. The observational points included TCM integration, plasma glucose, glycated hemoglobin, lipids, insulin resistance index(HOMA-IR),insulin secretionindex(HOMA-β).The red cell membrane phospholipid composition (phosphatidylcholine, phosphatidylserine, phosphatidylinositol, phosphatidylinositol acetamide),chronicinflammatory factors (CRP, TNF-a, IL-6).Results 1. Comparison of basic data: Before treatment, the comparison of the genderconstituent ratio, age constituent ratio, BMI, WHtR, HOMA-IR, lipid(TG, CHOL.HDL-C,LDL-C), C-reactive protein (CRP), HbA1C and the symptom integral between theexperimental group and the control group had not statistically significant.2. Effects on TCM syndrome score: TCM syndrome score reduction by observingchanges was discovered in after treatment group.(P<0.05) was considered statisticallysignificant. But analysis between the two groups after treatment showed that theexperimental group was superior to the control group (P<0.05)3. Effects on HbA1C HOMA-IR HOMA-β: After treatment, HbA1C, HOMA-IR weresignificantly lower (P <0.05), HOMA-β were significantly higher (P <0.05).(P<0.05) wasconsidered statistically significant. But between the two groups after treatment analysisfound that the experimental group was superior to the control group (P <0.05).4. Effects on Lipid metabolism: After treatment, LDL-C, CHOL, HDL-C have nosignificant change (P>0.05) in the experimental and control groups; TG were significantlylower (P <0.05) in two groups, but the experimental group was superior to the controlgroup.(P<0.05)5. Effects on chronic inflammatory factors (TNF-a、CRP and IL-6):TNF-a, CRP, IL-6were decreased in the experimental and control groups after treatment (P <0.05)。 Butanalysis between the two groups after treatment showed that the experimental group wassuperior to the control group.(P<0.05)6. Effects on the red cell membrane phospholipid composition:After treatment, thered blood cell membrane phospholipid composition (PC, PS, PI, PE) does not change incontrol group, but in the experimental group it was improved.ConclusionYiqiyangyin method can effectively improve type2diabetes patients with symptomsof Deficiency of qi-yin, and can effectively improve Type2diabetes IR by lowering bloodsugar, blood lipids and inflammatory factors, increasing the red blood cell membranephospholipid composition.
