Changshu Physical Examination Results Of Primary And Middle School Students Investigation And Analysis

Objective: Understand our city primary and middle school students’ height andweight change trend, analyze its poor vision, dental caries and trachoma, overweight andobesity of common diseases such as distribution, for health, education and other relevantdepartments to provide a scientific basis for intervention and the health of students.Method: By the centers for disease control and prevention, Changshu medical unitsof the city’s students to participate in a medical check-up before training, grade and thegrade three in the city, the second people’s hospital in accordance with the requirements forthe effects and the entrance examination and medical examination, the rest of the year inaccordance with the "measures for the management of primary and middle school students’physical examination" and "technical specification for student health examination aftertraining. Mainly useSPSS17.0software for statistical data analysis.Results: Of the69183respondents, primary school students,37056,20673,11454high school students in junior high school students. Physical examination project all thepercent of pass is only13.94%, with boys and girls are14.74%and13.15%respectively.1、The our city6~18height, weight increases with the growth of the age of primaryand secondary schools, both city and town, the boy at the age of11~14is the growth peak,the girl is growth peak in10~13years old. Both at the age of10~11and12~13appeared twice. Primary sections to high school team average heart rate decrease with theincrease of school-age girls and boys, girls average heart rate slightly higher than boys, theaverage blood pressure for the primary sections to high school team diastolic and systolicblood pressure were increased with the increase of school age.2、The elementary school to high school three school-age period of low vision raterise gradually (P<0.05), the primary stage of47.88%to95.88%of high school. Urban andrural poor vision rate for girls than boys (P <0.05). In elementary school and junior high school stage, urban boys and girls the poor vision rate were significantly higher than that ofthe villages and towns, the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05), in high school,no statistical difference (P>0.05).3、Dental caries prevalence rate was36.04%, including teeth caries rate was24.40%,permanent teeth caries rate was10.08%. Heightening pupils dental caries prevalence rate ishigher than the middle school students, junior high school), the difference was statisticallysignificant (P <0.05), primary school boy baby teeth caries rate is significantly higher thangirls, permanent teeth caries rates boys than girls (P <0.05); Secondary deciduous teeth andpermanent teeth caries rate for girls is significantly higher than boys (P <0.05).4、7~18overweight rate was12.2%, and the villages and towns in urban obesity rateswere8.8%and9.3%respectively, the villages and towns is higher than the urban area (P<0.05). Both the city and the villages and towns, men’s overall rate of overweight andobesity rates are higher than girls, have examined the statistical and difference wasstatistically significant (all P <0.05). Overweight and obesity students basic decreased withincreasing age, the change trend of girls is more obvious.5、In addition to the grade and the high three students, boys trachoma total prevalencewas2.63%, the female is2.50%. Each grade were no statistical difference of incidence oftrachoma, both men and women (P>0.05).6、Primary and middle school students in the college of anomaly detection rate0.37%,surgical abnormal rate was0.66%, color differentiation anomaly is2.64%. Internalanomalies are mainly in tachycardia and heart murmurs,63.3%and21.5%respectively;Surgical anomaly detection is mainly scoliosis and goiter,84.7%and10.7%respectively.In every school-age boy color differentiation abnormal rate were higher than girls,difference has statistical significance (P <0.05).Conclusion: Changshu primary and middle school students’ physical fitness, physicalexamination project all qualified rate is not high, common problem, severe cariesespecially schoolchildren and students of high incidence of low vision, male obesityproblem is outstanding, scoliosis is a more severe health problems, but manageablestudents need according to the characteristics of different students, strengthen healtheducation and propaganda, change bad habits, learning and life advocate good lifestyle ofexercise every day, and must strengthen the students’ healthy mind monitoring teamconstruction and team construction, to ensure students health monitoring the quality of the work, prevent all kinds of students’ common diseases and improve students’ physicalfitness.
