ObjectiveThrough comparison on improvement situation of balance disorder after a stroke between movement acupuncture treatment method coordinated with wuzangshu and geshu moxibustion and regular acupuncture method, a systematic evaluation is made on the optimal effectiveness of movement acupuncture treatment method coordinated with wuzangshu and geshu moxibustion in clinical treatment on balance disorders after a stroke.MethodsThere are totally36patients with balance disorders after a stroke which meets case inclusion standard included in this study; all patients come from inpatient office of department of acupuncture and moxibustion of Guangdong Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine and all of them agree to receive the therapeutic scheme. The statistical software of SPSS is adopted to randomly allocate36patients into control group (regular acupuncture method) and treatment group (movement acupuncture treatment method coordinated with wuzangshu and geshu moxibustion), and each group includes18patients. As for control group, the acupoints selected include as follows:main acupoints:neiguan, shuigou, sanyinjiao, jiquan, chize, and weizhong; matching acupoints:as for patients with hyperaction of liver, taichong and taixi acupoints are matched; as for patients with phlegm heat, quchi, neiting and fenglong acupoints are matched; as for patients with stagnation of phlegm, fenglong and hegu acupoints are matched; as for patients with wind formation from yin deficiency, taixi and fengchi acupoints are matched, as for patients with Qi deficiency and blood stasis, sanli and qihai acupoints are matched; After acupoint selection, a straight or oblique piercing is carried out with mild reinforcing and attenuating technique; the needle is kept for30min. As for treatment group, the acupoints selected include as follows: acupoint selection through acupuncture:taking Jiao’s scalp acupuncture as standard and selecting movement area, foot movement feeling area and balance area for scalp acupuncture; body acupuncture:fengchi, tianzhu and wangu at both sides; acupoint selection for moxibustion:feishu, xinshu, ganshu, pishu, shenshu, and keshu. In the process of acupuncture therapy, the position of acupoints shall be fully exposed; after conventional disinfection, the scalp needle is pierced in an inclined direction, and then a quick and continuous twirling is made for lmin. The body needle shall be pierced along the direction of apex nasi, and then a small range of twirling is made; after piercing, retaining the needle, the balance training is continued for30min, and then the moxa-cone moxibustion is carried; the direct contact moxibustion method is adopted, and5moxa cones are used for each acupoint. Treatment of six times a week, fourteen days for a course of treatment, a total of twelve times treatment. FM-B balance scale and BBS balance scale are adopted for evaluation. As for comparison on measurement data, x±s is used. Through comparison of within group or between control group and treatment group before and after treatment, it is found that the result meets Gaussian distribution and homogeneity of variance, t test is adopted (Within group comparisons using independent-sample t test, compared between the groups using paired-sample t test.), the result does not meets Gaussian distribution or homogeneity of variance, rank-sum test is adopted (Within group comparisons using independent-sample rank-sum test, compared between the groups using paired-sample rank-sum test.); the enumeration data is expressed via component ratio; as for comparison between groups, chi-square test is adopted.Results1. In this randomized controlled trial, the age, gender, stroke types, evaluation scale scores are equal to two groups, thus they have comparability.2. Through comparison on scores of FM-B and BBS balance scale before and after treatment on control group, it is found that the difference has statistical significance (P<0.05), this points out that regular acupuncture method can realize an improvement situation on balance disorder after a stroke.3. Through comparison on scores of FM-B and BBS balance scale before and after treatment on treatment group, it is found that the difference has statistical significance (P<0.05), this points out that movement acupuncture treatment method coordinated with wuzangshu and geshu moxibustion can realize an improvement situation on balance disorder after a stroke.4. Through comparison on scores of FM-B and BBS balance scale after treatment on two groups, it is found that the difference has statistical significance (P<0.05), this points out that movement acupuncture treatment method coordinated with wuzangshu and geshu moxibustion is better than regular acupuncture method in clinical treatment on balance disorders after a stroke.ConelusionBoth of the regular acupuncture method and the movement acupuncture treatment method coordinated with wuzangshu and geshu moxibustion can realize an improvement on balance disorders after a stroke. Therefore, the movement acupuncture treatment method coordinated with wuzangshu and geshu moxibustion has better treatment effect on balance disorders after a stroke than traditional acupuncture method. This points out that movement acupuncture treatment method coordinated with wuzangshu and geshu moxibustion is better than regular acupuncture method in clinical treatment on balance disorders after a stroke, Movement acupuncture treatment method coordinated with wuzangshu and geshu moxibustion is an effective method in clinical treatment on balance disorders after a stroke.
