Object: The purpose of this study is to observe the relationship between Unstable Angina(UAP) in patients with plaque stability and insulin resistance (IR) and glucagon-like peptide-1(GLP-1) in our country; and IR, GLP-1and lipid differences between the differentsyndromes of unstable angina, and further clarify the correlation between IR and GLP-1andunstable angina; open up new ideas and new methods for unstable angina classification andtreatment of TCM.Methods: Using retrospective survey research methods, formulate relevant clinicalobservation table, collect60patients diagnosed with unstable angina of the First AffiliatedHospital of Henan University of Traditional Chinese Medicine2013Aprilto2014February in hospital and healthy controls30cases, record their general informationand medical history, and based on clinical symptoms and signs which distinguish syndromes, fill in the first day of admission blood lipids (triglycerides, total cholesterol, high densitylipoprotein cholesterol, low-density lipoprotein cholesterol); carotid artery plaque detectionvalue. Fasting glucose, fasting insulin values and calculate the insulin resistance index;glucagon-like peptide-1and so on. Use SPSS17.0statistical package to establish a database, manage and analysis data to draw a conclusion.Results:1. UAP group and normal control group gender comparison, UAP group of28males and32females; normal control group14males and16females. By chi-square test: χ2=7.2, P=0.07>0.05, indicating no significant gender differences among subjects enrolled inthe two groups were comparable. The UAP group Age=50.80±11.04, while the controlgroup of age=54.10±8.66, t test after significant, P=0.113>0.05, indicating no significantdifferences between the age group of the subject into two groups were comparable.2. UAP group and normal control group HOMA-IR and GLP-1by t test was concluded, P<0.01, indicates that there are significant differences between the UAP group and normalgroup. And between the different syndromes UAP group by statistical analysis, P <0.05, alsoexplains the different TCM syndromes between HOMA-IR and GLP-1also exists a significant difference.3. Through statistical analysis, UAP group, total cholesterol, triglycerides and LDL levelswere significantly higher than the control group, while HDL was significantly lower than thecontrol group, and P <0.05, statistically significance. And between UAP different syndromesin addition to high-density lipoprotein does not have a statistically significant difference, thetotal cholesterol, triglycerides and low-density lipoprotein by statistical analysis, P <0.05,were statistically significant. Carotid artery plaque score comparison, there is a statisticallysignificant difference between the UAP group and normal control group, but betweendifferent syndromes UAP medicine, concluded by statistical t-test, P>0.05, statistically nodifference.Conclusion:1. There is a significant correlation (GLP-1) between unstable angina andinsulin resistance (IR) and glucagon-like peptide-1.2. There is a correlation between unstable angina and blood lipids, carotid artery plaque.3. There is a clear correlation between TCM syndrome of unstable angina and insulinresistance (IR) and glucagon-like peptide-1(GLP-1).4. There is a correlation between unstable angina TCM and common carotid artery plaquelipids.
