PurposeExplore the factors that affect the flat panel detector digital subtraction angiographysystem (FPD DSA)imaging quality and radiation dose, and comparison with the traditionalimage intensifier digital subtraction angiography system(TV/II DSA). Compare the pros andcons between image quality and radiation dose, and proposed to meet the clinicalrequirements of the dose optimization program,optimize the program to be verified.Material and methodsDSA phantom Solidose dosimeter monitoring surface entrance dose rate, RAD-checkdose was monitored scattered radiation exposure rate, resolution test card, CDRAD2.0phantom image quality evaluation, research the Wandong CGO-3000(image intensifier type)and000East CGO-2100(flat panel detector type) DSA system device settings on theradiation dose and image quality; comparative analysis of the results of the study, summedup the integrated dose optimization program; Finally, dose optimization programthe effectof optimization Monte Carlo program verification.ResultsDSA device settings (additional filtration, image intensifier size, geometricmagnification, perspective way, the radiation field, fluoroscopy, shooting conditions, androtation angle) image quality, surface incident dose and scattered radiation irradiation dosehave varying degrees ofaffected. Two different angiography system, in the same mAs andkV conditions, the surface dose rate increase with the settings showed an increasing curve,but the FPD DSA, the increase was lower than the TV/II DSA system, the image quality inthe case of low-dose higher than the TV/II DSA system. Gantry rotation angle in RAO25,CRA30, CRA40, RAO-CRA30, RAO-CRA35, FPD system surface dose rate slightly higherthan the booster system, the four corners of this with FPD square vision overlap during rotation. Be verified with the Monte Carlo program, the systemic organ effective dose andskin dose decreased, dose optimization scheme can effectively reduce the DAPinterventional examinations.ConclusionThe DSA system additional filtration size, image detector size, geometricmagnification, perspective, the radiation field, perspective conditions and photographicconditions will be on image quality and radiation dose impact; contrast CGO-3000system,CGO-2100system canthe same equipment conditions set the same case can get a higherimage resolution and vessel detection capabilities, and can be reduced to varying degrees bythe licensee and the operator’s radiation dose. In addition, the application of the flat-paneldetector, RAO, CRA, RAO-CRA rotation angle of radiation dose have a certain influence,in actual operation should try to choose a small dose and rotation angle can get higher imagequality, although accepted by licensee may reduce the radiation dose.
