Use Buxutongluo Acupuncture To Improve The Curative Effect Of Stroke Patients Balance Function

ObjectiveUse Buxutongluo acupuncture method and routine acupuncture method (from the book of《Science of acupuncture and moxibustion》) to treat balance dysfunction after stroke. Observe two means of intervention effects on balance dysfunction after stroke, and compare the treatment effect. To determine the advantage of Buxutongluo acupuncture method in the treatment of balance dysfunction after stroke.To provide a new treatment method for the clinical treatment of balance dysfunction after stroke, enrich the traditional medicine, especially acupuncture clinical practical value. At the same time, this research on the basis of balancing tester to discuss Buxutongluo acupuncture in improving the curative effect of balance function in patients with stroke, providing an objective assessment of curative effect index.MethodsThis research adopts the research method of evidence-based medicine randomized controlled. Family members signed written informed consent, then patients will be randomized into two groups of the treatment group and the by control group which adopting the inclusion criteria:①the treatment group38cases,②the control group38cases. All of the patients using "stroke unit" management model. Strengthen secondary prevention, mainly includes the regulation of the patient’s blood pressure,blood glucose,blood lipid. Improving the positive intervention measures such as coronary heart disease (CHD).At the same time, all of the patients have to accept the same rehabilitation, including①pose training;②transfer training;③standing training;④walk training. They need to be trained for2hours a day, six days a week,2weeks for a period of treatment. On this basis, the treatment group uses the Buxutongluo acupuncture method while the control group accepted routine acupuncture method. Use the Berg balance scale(BBS) and Fugl-Meyer balance function evaluation part to evaluate two groups of patients before and after treatment for2weeks、4weeks and3months as a result, also use the static balance tester and training system to evaluate two groups of patients after treatment for2weeks、4weeks and3months as a result, the data obtained using SPSS17.0statistical analysis.Results(1)to compare with those before treatment, two groups of patients after2weeks、4weeks and3months, no matter use the Fugl-Meyer、BBS or static balance tester and training system to evaluate, its value through independent sample t-test and repeated measures analysis of variance were significant differences (P<0.01).(2)the comparison between two groups of patients, using Fugl-Meyer balance scale measurement value comparison of the baseline period by the independent sample t-test, there was no significant difference (P>0.05). After treatment of2weeks、4weeks and3months, the scores were analysed by repeated measures analysis of variance,but the results was no significant difference (P>0.05).(3)the BBS balance scale measuring results comparison, there was no significant difference(P>0.05)between two groups of the baseline period measurement value comparison by using the independent sample t-test. And after treatmenting2weeks、4weeks and3months, the scores were analysed by repeated measures analysis of variance, and the results was significant difference (P<0.01)between two groups.(4)the static balance tester and training system measurement results comparison, the scores of two groups of patients dynamic balance line length、line chart area and the farthest distance after2weeks treatment were analysed by the independent sample t-test, all of then have no significant difference(P>0.05). After treatment of4weeks and3months, the scores were analysed by the repeated measures analysis of variance, all of then have a significant difference between the two groups (P<0.01).Conclusion(1)Both Buxutongluo acupuncture method and routine acupuncture method can effectively improve the balance function of the patients after stroke.And Buxutongluo acupuncture method is superior to routine acupuncture method on improving the balance function of the patients after stroke.(2) All the test methods which are Fugl-Meyer balance scale、BBS balance scale and static balance tester and training system can evaluate the balance function of patients.(3)The BBS balance scale and the static balance tester training system in balance evaluation of stroke patients with good consistency. Two treatment methods have significant difference of curative effect by using the BBS balance scale and the static balance tester training system to evaluate the balance function of patients. But Fugl-Meyer balance scale’s sensitivity is poor.
