Study On The Regularity Of TCM Syndrome Elements’s Distribution And Combination Of456Cases Of Lobar Pneumonia In Children

Objective: Through a retrospective survey of hospitalized cases, explore theregularity of TCM syndrome elements’s distribution and combination of LobarPneumonia （LP）in children, and it’s conducive to syndrome differentiation andtreatment of TCM.Methods: Based on the retrospective survey of456hospitalized cases who hadbeen diagnosed Lobar Pneumonia as a child, draw up a questionnaire ofretrospective analysis for children lobar pneumonia, establish the ResearchDatabase of TCM syndrome elements, describe by SPSS19.0statistical analysissoftware.Results: From this study, we extracted11syndrome elements of lobarpneumonia,including9syndrome elements about etiology or disease resistance,2syndrome elements about disease location. In the etiology or disease resistancesyndrome elements, the frequency of heat (as a percentage of all records, the samebelow) was topmost,40.90%,followed by wind, sputum (drink), blood stasis,poison, Qi deficiency, Yin deficiency, etc., the percentages were19.74%,17.19%,8.04%,5.90%, etc.; Disease location was mainly in the lung, a frequency of97.18%, followed by was the spleen,2.82%. There were six kinds of Combinationof lobar pneumonia syndrome elements. The combination of three syndromeelements was topmost, which cumulative constitute more than75.88%, acombination of four elements was followed by, which cumulative constitute morethan13.60%. Only the Lung-heat congestion and Deficiency of both QI and YINwere diagnosed as combination of two syndrome elements. The former was ninecases,1.97%, the latter was six cases,1.32%. In the combination of that two diseaseresistance syndrome elements with a single target, wind+heat and heat+sputumwhose target were lung ranked on the top,the former was54.04%, the latter was36.70%. The result of four syndrome elements combinations: In the combination ofthat three disease resistance syndrome elements with a single target, sputum+heat +stasis and heat+poison+stasis whose target were lung ranked on the top,the ratiowere both38.71%; The other combinations were wind+hot+stasis, deficiency ofboth QI and YIN and sputum+wet the ratio were9.68%、3.23%、1.61%。Thatdeficiency of QI+deficiency of YIN and deficiency of QI+stasis make up thecombination of that two disease resistance syndrome elements with two targets(lungand spleen), each share a ratio of3.23%and6.45%. The combination of four diseaseresistance syndrome elements was deficiency of QI+Deficiency of YIN+stasis+sputum, no targets, shared1.61%. The result of five syndrome elementscombinations: the combination of four disease resistance syndrome elements with asingle target(lung), respectively were wind+heat+deficiency of QI+deficiency ofYIN, heat+poison+deficiency of QI+deficiency of YIN, sputum+heat+deficiencyof QI+deficiency of YIN, poison+heat+deficiency of YIN+stasis, sputum+heat+wet+stasis, poison+heat+wet+stasis, shared5.00%,20.00%,10.00%,5.00%,5.00%,5.00%. That deficiency of QI+sputum+wet、deficiency ofQI+sputum+stasis and deficiency of QI+wind+heat make up the combination of thatthree disease resistance syndrome elements with two targets(lung and spleen), bothof them shared a ratio of5.00%. The combination of five disease resistancesyndrome elements was deficiency of QI+deficiency of YIN+sputum+wet+stasis,shared35.00%. The result of six syndrome elements combinations: there are only5cases. the combination of that four disease resistance syndrome elements with twotargets(lung and spleen) included deficiency of QI+wind+heat+stasis and sputum+heat+deficiency of QI+deficiency of YIN, respectively shared40%、20%Thecombination of five disease resistance syndrome elements with a single targe（tlung）was heat+poison+deficiency of QI+deficiency of YIN+drink, shared40.00%.Conclusion: The main syndrome elements of lobar pneumonia were the hot,wind,sputum, stasis, poison, deficiency of QI，deficiency of YIN and so on, mainlylocated in the lungs.
