Research on the establishment of experimental chronic traumatic osteomyelitis in rabbittibiaObjective: This research was established to talk about the constrction of experimental chronictraumatic osteomyelitis in rabbit two tibia. Methods:Thirteen Japanese white rabbits were adopted,and5%sodium morrhuate0.5ml and3×109CFU Staphylococcus aureus0.5ml were infused into a bone hole in two tibia. The bonehole sealing by bone wax to copy the animal model of chronic osteomylitis. There is noantibiotics for preventing infection. Observing the basic condition, anus temperature, bodyweight. By radiologic, pathalogical and bacteriologic, evaluating the experimentalstaphylococcus aureus osteomyelitis animal model on the4th week after infection.Results:①One rabbit died due to poison, another died in the7th day,the others were in poorcondition, showing loss of weight and appetite loss, the temperature of rabbits raised in the1st—10th day and restored to normal slowly, then they remain good conditionin on the next days.Swelling and fevering could be found from the7th day in the model area, where emerging softtissue swelling, purulent secretiong and sinus tract gradually.②DR showingand soft tissueswelling in the middle and front of the two tibia where emerging bone cortex, density releasing, bone destruction, periosteal reaction.③roentgenography histological ultastuctral observationsshowing a large of inflammation cell;Staphylococcus aureus could be found from the bonemarrow of model position. Conclusion: By injecting Staphylococcus aureus suspensions and5%sodium morrhuate into thebone hole in two tibia, chronic osteomyelitis model in rabbit tibia can be constructed well. Research on the impact and mechanism of Guyankang Liquid for ChronicOsteomyelitisObjective: To investigate the therapeutic efficacy of Guyankang Liquid for chronicosteomylitis and observe its mechanism.Methods:24rabbits which had been testified as successful models were randomly dividedinto three groups including the treatment group, Contrast group and blank contrast group,8rabbits were included respectively. The treatment group were washed with the liquid ofGuYanKang and the liquid of Gentamicin, Contrast group were washed with the liquid ofGentamicin and blank contrast group were washed with the liquid of NS. All animals weretreated for2weeks,when observing the WBC accounting,ESR on the1st and2rd week.Onthe2rd week, DR checking and tissue section were made to prove the pathologital analyse.Results:1.The results indicated that the leukocyte count and ESR of rabbit serumincreased inblank contrast group while descended in the treatment group.Great significant contrastswere found between the other groups and the blank contrast group on2rd week,(P<0.05).2.The blank contrast group rabbits were in severe symptoms,DR found obviousperiosteal reaction, bone abscess and high density of necrotic bone imaging; Contrast grouprabbits were in moderate symptoms,DR found obvious soft tissues welling, narrow ordisappearing marrow with thicker and irregular appearance,no sequestrum or sequestrum ofbone surrounded bycladding;while the treatment group rabbits were in slight symptoms,DRfound no soft tissue swelling, marrow cavity in recanalization, neat bone configuration andtrabecular bone structure.3.The blank contrast group finding a lot of neutrophil, lymphocyte plasmacyte, osteoclast, the contrast group finding lots of neutrephil and lymphocyte infiltration, while thetreatment group showing a tiny of inflammatory and osteoblast.Conelusion:The treatment group has a good efficacy, and its possible mechanism are:①Detoxification and restruction, inhibiting the development of inflammation, protecting thebody’s defense function;②promoting the local blood circulation for removing blood stasisand improve wound healing;③expelling putrid and foul to promote tissue regeneration andpromoting bone repair.
