Objective:To explore the relationship among seurm uric acid level in the acute period ofLarge artery atherosclerosis ischemic stroke and Neural function defect scale, and andother risk facots and short-term prognosis, thus to provide clinical evidence totreatment large artery atherosclerosis ischemic stroke for good prognosis. Methods:Cllection of282case of hospitalized patients who diagnosis of large arteryatherosclerosis ischemic stroke in the department of neurology Chenzhou NO.1hospital from December2012to December2013as case group. At the same period of282healthy people as control group. The case patients and the control healthy peoplewere retrospectively evaluated for general clinical characteristics, anthropometricmeasurement and biochemical index, MRS score is tested after14days. Using singerfactor and logistic regression to explore the relationship among seurm uric acid levelin the acute period of Large artery atherosclerosis ischemic stroke and Neural functiondefect scale, and and other risk facots and short-term prognosis.Results:1. Compared with the control group, the case group had higher proportion ofhyptension, diabetes, history of smoking and drinking(P<0.05)..SBP,DBP,TG,LDL,HsCRP,Fib,BMI,SUA levels of the case group alsosignificantly higher than the control group (P<0.05).2.Through uvariate ANOVA indicated that the level of SUA and the illnessseverity(mild, moderate, severe ischemic stroke) is statistical significance (P<0.01),andLSD-t tests showed that the SUA levels of severe ischemic stroke is higher thanmild and moderate ischemic stroke, the SUA levels of moderate ischemic stroke ishigher than mild(P<0.05).3.There were significant correlations between serum uric acid concentration in the acute period of Large artery atherosclerosis ischemic stroke and SBP, serum TG,FBG,LDL, HsCRP.(P<0.05).4.Single factor analysis showed that hyperuricemia, hypention, diabets, age, serumFBG, LDL, HsCRP, BMI, NIHSS were significant difference between the poorprognosis group and the good prognosis group(P<0.05). Age, diabets, serum LDL,HsCRP and the illness severity were the independent risk factors for large arteryatherosclerosis ischemic stroke′s short-term poor prognosis.Hyperuricemia is not theindependent preditor.Conclusion:1. In the acute period of Large artery atherosclerosis ischemic stroke Seurm uricacid level is correlated with the illness severities. The illness is heavier, the higher leverof serum uric acid.2. There were significant correlations between serum uric acid concentration inthe acute period of Large artery atherosclerosis ischemic stroke and SBP, serum TG,FBG, LDL, HsCRP.(P<0.05)3.Serum uric acid may more an abnormal marker in the process of diseasedevelopment than an independent predictor of short-term poor outcome for largeartery atherosclerosis ischemic stroke.
