Objective:To investigate the effects of Qingfei oral liquid on expression of T-bet, GATA3and Interleukin (IL)-12in mouse’s lung tissue infected with Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) of disease from the perspective of sustaining Thl/Th2type cytokines balance. And discussed its mechanism of action.Methods:Fourty-five BABL/c mice were classified into five groups randomly, nine mice in each group:blank control group, model group, Ribavirin group, Qingfei oral liquid low dose Group (3.4g/ml) and high dose group (10.2g/ml). Mice were molded by RSV (Long strain) virus and given24-hour’s cultivation.72hours later they were killed for pathological analysis of lung tissue, RT-PCR test of T-bet and GATA3protein expression level, ELISA test of expression level of IL-12in BALF and flow cytometry test of IL-4and INF-y expression in the spleen.Results:Both model group and Qingfei oral liquid groups showed a significant increase of expression of T-bet and IL-12(p<0.05, p<0.01) and a significant decrease of expression of GATA3in lung tissues.Conclusion:Qingfei oral liquid can regulate the balance of Thl/Th2, increase the expression of T-bet and IL-12in the lung tissue of RSV infected mouse, inhibit the expression of GATA3, which further proves the effect of Qingfei oral liquid in treating the middle stage of RSV induced pulmonitis.
