The Comparison Of Synergistic Effects Of Sevoflurane On Cisatracurium With Different Dose

Purpose:Sevoflurane has the synergism on NMBAs and this kind of synergistic effect is related to its MAC or using period. It’s known that sevoflurane can enhance the neuromuscular block of rocuronium and it is stronger in a lower dose in cell experiment. We have investigated the synergism of sevoflurane on cisatracurium with clinical methods to clarify that its synergistic effect is related to different dose of cisatracurium.Methods:Patients undergoing breast cancer surgery were randomly selected to one of three groups according to the dose of cisatracurium, the Group S (0.10mg/kg), the Group M (0.15mg/kg) and the Group L (0.20mg/kg). Each group was divided in two groups due to its anesthesia plan, the Group PROP and the Group SEVO. We recorded the data through TOF-Watch including onset time (to), maintaining time (tm), recovery time (tr), extubation time (tex), SpO2before the surgery and20minutes after the extubation and Steward points.Results:to of each group has no significantly difference (P>0.05); tm and tr were prolonged in Group SEVO of Group S and Group M and Group L compared with Group PROP (P<0.05), and they were both stronger in Group S (P<0.05). tex were also prolonged in Group SEVO of all the dose groups. SpO2before the surgery and20minutes after the extubation and Steward points were not in much difference of each group (P>0.05).Conclusion:The synergistic effect of sevoflurane on cisatracurium is related to the dose of cisatracurium, and the synergistic effect is stronger at a lower dose of cisatracurium.
