Effect Of Trazodone On The Treatment Of Chronic Prostatitis Complicated With Sexual Dysfunction

Objectives:To examine the clinical effect of trazodone on the treatmentof chronic prostatitis complicated with sexual dysfunction.Methods: A total of219patients with chronic prostatitis orally tooktrazodone for4weeks （50mg qn）.The assessment of the effect was madea ccording to The international index of erectile function （I IEF）、TheChinese index of sexual function for prematureejaculation（CIPE）、Self—Rating Anxiety Scale （SAS）、Self-ratingdepression scale（S DS）．Results: The patients with chronic prostatitis not only suffer fromsexual dysfunction，but also suffer from different degrees of Mentaldisorders, such as anxiety (28.31%), depression （25.77%）. Aftertreatment for4weeks, the effective rate of trazodone for erectiledysfunction was74.19%, the effective rate of treatment Prematureejaculation was77.38%.Effective for the treatment of anxiety was80.65%,Effective for the treatment of depression was80.36%.Conclusion:Trazodone can not only treat of sexual dysfunction，canalso improve the mental symptoms.
