| Objective To evaluate the effect of autologous peripheral bloodstem cell transplantation on multiple myeloma.Methods In our hospital from January2009to May2013,25patients of Durie-Salmon staging for line type â…¡A-â…¢B of multiplemyeloma were treated with chemotherapy combined APBSCT, fivepatients choosed melphalan and bortezomib as conditioning regiment,follow-up analysis of response rate and survival after transplantation.Results All25patients got hematopoietic recovery sucessfully,neutrophils implanted median time was15(8~26) d,platelet implantedmedian time was22(11~50) d.The main transplant-related complicationsincluded fever,9cases of pulmonary infection in4cases, transplantationrelated mortality rate was0.Assessment was taken away one month aftertransplantation in all25cases,16cases got CR (64.0%),5cases got VGPR(20.0%),4patients got PR (16.0%), with an overall response rate was100%.Median follow-up time was30(2~70) months.8patients relapsed,3 of them were treated with secondary transplantation to get CR,5patientschooesd chemotherapy to get CR.At last,4cases died of lung infection.Median PFS time was42months after transplantation.Conclusions APBSCT is relatively safe and effective method fortreatment of MM,the superiority of induction and conditioning regimentforadding bortzomib remain to be further discussed. |
