The Clinical Research Of Treatment Of Xing Nao Kai Qiao Needle Therapy In Post Stroke Depression

Objective:To investigate the viability of "Xing nao Kai qiao needle therapy" on post stroke depression (PSD), observe and compare the clinical efficacy of the PSD and its impact on recovery of neurological deficits which base on "Xing nao Kai qiao needle therapy".Methods:60PSD were divided into an acupuncture treatment group and the control group randomly,30cases of acupuncture group and the control group of30patients, in addition to receiving conventional treatment of neurology, acupuncture treatment group were selected with "XNKQ needle therapy", the control group were just using Fluoxetine,the course of treatment is4weeks. Before and after of the treatment, We evaluated the severity of depression by using Hamilton Depression Rating Scale (HDRS), Self-Rating Depression Scale (SDS) and evaluated degree of neurological deficit with China neurological impairment scale, then we also contrasted the scale scores within the group and between the groups, we compared the correlation and safety evaluation of the scores, all data were statistically analyzed by SPSS16.0software.Results:1、The scores of MSSS of two g roups have a significant difference before and after treatment (P<0.05), it suggested that the two groups of patients after treatment were significantly improved neurological deficit; after treatment, the acupuncture group and the control group have a significant difference in improving neurological deficit (P>0.05),then we can say that the acupuncture group in improvement of neurological deficit was significantly higher than the control group, and it illustrated that "XNKQ needle therapy" can significantly recover the neurological function.2、The scores of MSSS of two groups were significantly decreased before and after treatment, compared with pre-treatment, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05), it prompted the depressive symptoms of two groups of patients were significantly improved after treatment; and the acupuncture group and the control group had no significant difference in the improvement of the depression symptoms(P>0.05), it suggested that the role of two groups in the improvement of the depression symptoms was quite, and it illustrated that "XNKQ needle therapy" can significantly improve depressive symptoms in stroke patients.3、The total effective rate of acupuncture group was97.00%,the total effective rate of the control group was100.00%, The scores of HRSD of two groups were significantly decreased before and after treatment, compared with pre-treatment, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05), it prompted the depressive symptoms of two groups of patients were significantly improved after treatment; and the acupuncture group and the control group had no significant difference in the improvement of the depression symptoms(P<0.05), it suggested that the role of two groups in the improvement of the depression symptoms was quite, and it illustrated that "XNKQ needle therapy" can significantly improve depressive symptoms in stroke patients.4、Every factors of HRSD scale had declined after treatment, but the factor of anxiety/somatization, the factor of body weight showed no significant difference within the group (P>0.05), while the factor of recognizing obstacles, the factor of day and night changes, the factor of delays aspects, the factor of sleep disorders, the factor of hopelessness had a significant difference (P<0.05). It prompted "XNKQ needle therapy" had a good effect on the factor of recognizing obstacles, the factor of day and night changes, the factor of delays aspects, the factor of sleep disorders, the factor of hopelessness.5、It indicated the side effects of the acupuncture is less than the control group, and this results shows that the acupuncture is a safe and effective method.Conclusions:"XNKQ needle therapy" can significantly improve symptoms of depression PSD, especially in improving the factor of recognizing obstacles, the factor of day and night changes, the factor of delays aspects,the factor of sleep disorders, the factor of hopelessness, and the "XNKQ needle therapy" can promote the improvement of neurological deficit,"XNKQ needle therapy "is a safe and effective method.
