Retrospective Analysis Of48Patients With Severe Drug Eruption

Objective:To investigate the incidence of severe drug eruption characteristics, clinical characteristics and treatment measures, provide a reference for future clinical work. Methods:To analyze the clinical data of48patients with severe drug eruption in the Department Of Dermatology during January2003to December2013.Results:The first two sensitive drugs were antiepileptic drugs and antibiotics, respectively accounting for31.25%,29.17%. SJS were the most common type of severe drug eruption, accounting for56.25%(27/48), followed by TEN, was31.25%(15/48). Antiepileptic drugs, antigout drugs induced longest incubation period, respectively (13.22±15.14) days,(8.50±11.60) days. Of the types, SJS have the highest mucosal damage, the rate was92.59%, TEN have the most common complication, was53.33%. One case of DIHS died, and the remaining patients were improved and discharged. Glucocortucoid treatment of severe drug eruption combined IVIg in the biggest dose glucocortucoid and rash control time was lower than the glucocortucoid alone group.Conclusion:1.The major group of drugs causing severe drug eruption in our study were antiepileptic drugs, antibiotics, anti-inflammatory drugs, Carbamazepine was most common of antiepileptic drugs.2. SJS with the most common type of all severe drug eruption, followed was TEN.3Antiepileptic had the longest incubation period, followed by antigout drugs.4. Antiepileptic drugs and antigout drugs had a higher incidence of liver and kidney function damage.5. Glucocorticoid therapy is still the preferred method for the treatment of severe drug eruption, it is better for earlier combined with intravenous immunoglobulin.
