Objective:Through air pollutants, meteorological factors and the number of hospitalized children asthma in Urumqi, discussion of major pollutants and meteorological factors and the relationship between the number of childhood asthma hospitalizations, and Selected risk factors for childhood asthma, provide a theoretical basis for the proposed protective measures to protect vulnerable children. Methods:Collection of Urumqi city during2003-2012in the hospital3-14years old children asthma hospitalization data, and during the same period of meteorological data, the main atmospheric pollutants (PM10, SO2, NO2) concentration data, and meteorological data during the same period, the main atmospheric pollutants (PM10, SO2, NO2), the concentration of the data, by means of mathematical analysis of monitoring data, Reveals the annual change of urumqi urban main atmospheric pollutants characteristics and seasonal distribution characteristics, and using air pollutants partial evaluation to evaluate the quality of atmospheric environment. Using linear correlation, rank correlation and multiple linear regression analysis of the correlation analysis were air pollution, meteorological factors between the index and the number of asthma hospitalizations, and to explore the relationship between air pollution and meteorological factors. Results:In2003-2012, the main pollutants in the air is SO2, NO2and PM10in Urumqi. There was a significant downward trend in SO2, NO2showed a significant upward trend, PM10showed no significant change. A strong positive correlation between three kinds of pollutants (P<0.01), there are synergies between the three, which association between NO2and PM10strong correlation coefficient r=0.833. Meteorological factors in the largest is the temperature influence on pollutant concentration. Atmospheric environment quality and the meteorological factors complement each other, different levels of air pollution and meteorological factors affect the number of hospitalized children asthma. NO2is the main impact indicators, the strongest correlation with asthma; number of asthma hospitalizations and average air temperature, relative humidity, wind speed was negatively correlated with SO2, NO2, PM10and other air pollution index was positively correlated (P<0.05). The average temperature is one of the main indicators of the increase in the number of asthma hospitalizations. Conclusion:air pollution, climate change is the important factors that affect the number of children asthma hospitalization, should do a good job in environmental protection and the meteorological forecast as far as possible to reduce their children asthma attacks.
