| Purpose:Effect study of "AB six approaches" treatment on female college students.Method:Divide randomly 24 female college students with constipation, aged from 18-28, into expetimental group and control group (12 students each group). Conduct two-week treatment according to the experimental method on the experimental group, which is:(1) abdomen massage for 3-5 minutes; (2) abdomen pushing (horizontal) for 5 minutes; (3) point pressing on abdomen for 2-3 minutes; (4) two-side pushing on abdomen for 3-5 minutes; (5) spine pressing for 3-5 minutes; (6) two-side pushing on waist for 3-5 minutes. Repeat the above steps twice or 3 times,45 minutes in total as once, once per day,7 days per course,2 courses in total with 1 day rest in between. No treatment, no any intevention on the control group whose living style and diet remain the same as before. Follow-up study the experimental group and control group respectively one month before and after the experiment and record the results. All data processed with software SPSS20.0. Make independent sample t-test between the groups and paired t-test before and after the experiment, significance level α=0.05.Result:1. Defecation frequency:after two weeks intevention, the improvement rate of experimental group is 91.67%, while that of control group is 8.33%;2. Stool property:after two weeks intevention, the improvement rate of experimental group is 91.67%, while that of control group is 8.33%; 3. Symtom score:after two weeks intevention, significant difference occurred between the experimental group and control group (3.42±4.10 and 15.08±1.68, p<0.01); 4. Overall treatment effect:after two weeks intevention, the improvement rate of experimental group is 91.67%, while that of control group is 8.33%; 5. Follow-up study:no significant difference of symtom scores of experimental group comparing one month and two weeks after intevention (3.83±4.57 and 3.42±4.10, p>0.05) Conclusion:"AB six approaches" can relieve functional constipation of female college students with significant and sustainable effect. |
