| Purposes:To knowing the arterial health of Fuzhou 45 to 59 middle-aged people. Analysis the relationship between arterial elasticity and cardiovascular disease risk factors. Use increasing exercise load tests to discuss the relationship between artery elasticity and the cardiopulmonary endurance level. And analysis how arterial elasticity effects the cardiovascular indexes during exercise.Methods:199 Fuzhou 45-59, middle-aged people were selected and measured the pulse pressure, pulse wave conduction velocity and ankle arm index. The subjects’age, family history, smoking status, waist, hip circumference, body weight, blood pressure, fasting blood glucose, blood lipids and other cardiovascular disease risk factors were obtained by questionnaire morphology and blood test; using improved Bruce scheme for increasing exercise load test, recorded the heart rate, blood pressure, electrocardiogram (ECG) during the test and measured the V02peak.Results:1. The abnormal proportion of Fuzhou 45-59 middle-aged people’s pulse pressure and PWV were 47.2% and 41.7% respectively,55-59 middle-aged people were the worst, which compared with the younger aged group, PWV and ABI were significantly higher.2. Three kinds of arterial elasticity index had correlation with age. Pulse pressure correlated with family history, waist-hip ratio and systolic blood pressure. PWV had correlation with family history, BMI, waist circumference, waist-hip ratio, systolic pressure, diastolic blood pressure, fasting glucose, triglycerides, high-density lipoprotein cholesterol respectively.3. PWV and V02peak had significant negative correlation, the correlation coefficient was 0.306, and compared with normal men, PWV abnormal men’ s V02peak significantly lower.4. Compared with normal group, PWV abnormal group men’s quiet heart rate was higher, diastolic pressure was significantly higher during exercise. Abnormal group of women systolic blood pressure was significantly higher during exercise. No matter male or female, abnormal group both quiet systolic blood pressure and diastolic blood pressure were higher, the recovery of blood pressure were slower. Conclusions:1. Fuzhou 45-59 middle-aged people’s arterial elasticity was poor.2. Age, systolic blood pressure, family history and waist-to-hip ratio had closely relationship with arterial elasticity.3. PWV was negatively correlated with cardiopulmonary endurance, suggesting a higher arterial stiffness, V02peak was lower.4.During the exercise load test, arterial elasticity abnormal people’s cardiovascular indexes reacted worse than the general population. |
